Thanks for replying.
You can try to reinstall the Touchpad driver and see if that works. Make sure that you have a working external mouse.
Follow the steps below:
Just type in the Serial Number then hit search. Go to Drivers and Software > Manual Update > Mouse, Pen and Keyboard. Then click on the download icon and save the file first.
Uninstall the current Touchpad driver:
- Open Device Manager ( Right click on Windows start menu, then click on Device Manager)
- In Device Manager, expand Mice and Other Pointing Device (you should have Synaptics or Elan touchpad driver)
- Right click on the driver > uninstall > delete this device > hit Ok
Go back to the downloaded file of the Touchpad driver. Open and install the file. After installation, restart the computer and test.
Give us an update on how it goes.

Re: IdeaPad S145-15IWL — Touchpad not working (windows 10)
Already tryed this solution, do not work.
The istalation was done in this sequince:
- Boot the USB Win 10 — format the hard disk.
- After windows instalation, all drivers was downloaded from the Lenovo site, usig serial number.
- BIOS update
- Chipset driver
- WLan driver
- audio, video, camera, touchpad drivers.
The problem is that Win 10 do not recognize the touchpad at all. In device managaer , in Mouse and other pointing devices , the touchpad do not exsist at all, only external mouse.

Thanks for replying.
You can check on this thread with the same discussion about the touchpad not working.
You can also try to perform System Restore and choose a restore point before the touchpad stopped working.
If System Restore won’t fix it, try to check if the touchpad works in Safe Mode.
Give us an update on how it goes.
