Lenovo Service Bridge — LSB does not work after clean windows 10 install
After doing a clean install of windows 10 on a new SSD Lenovo Service Bridge fails to let me download needed software from the levovo download site. LSB won’t stay running and without it I can’t download the software. How do fix this to download the Lenovo Software?
-reinstalling LSB (several times)
-multiple browsers; Firefox, Chrome, Edge
-starting LSB manually
— ensuring that I am not using any proxies

Re: Lenovo Service Bridge — LSB does not work after clean windows 10 install
Did you uninstall the Lenovo Service Bridge first before trying to reinstall using the link below?
Lenovo Service Bridge
Are you getting an error message of any kind?
If you are on Windows 10, you might consider using Lenovo Companion, which is designed for Windows 10, is not dependent upon the Lenovo Service Bridge, and is replacing Lenovo’s System Update.

Lenovo Companion is a nice tool, but I am still not able to download the lenovo software or drivers for my laptop. I get no errors other than the webpage asking for me to install LSB which I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times

Re: Lenovo Service Bridge — LSB does not work after clean windows 10 install
I have the exact same problem. Tried almost everything. If I try to start LSB.exe, it comes up and die soon after. No log, no message. It would be nice if someone from Levono can provide either a solution or a way to debug the issue.

Re: Lenovo Service Bridge — LSB does not work after clean windows 10 install
I was having the same problem. I ended up manually downloading the files and executing without Lenovo utilitites. To do this, I did the following:
— Entered my serial number to bring up a list of my drivers
— With the Select Driver Update tab selected, I expanded the section below that I wanted (BIOS/UEFI in my case)
— Selected the icon that looks like a document, just to the right of the driver date
— That opened up a new tab in my browser with the files listed
— To the right of the file I wanted, I selected the icon with an arrow pointing down at a tray
— That started the download of the driver update file.
— Once it was downloaded, I executed and installed that driver update.
Pain the rear if you have a few to do but the only way I could get around LSB crashing.
Hope this helps.

Me too, it won’t open or stay open when I click on LSB.exe. Also already talked with MS about it, what we do?

LOL 2 years on the Lenovo support site s still prompting to download the service bridge but will not run for me, exact same issue as described here. Customer service definitely NOT a priority at Lenovo.
