I use a Lenovo Thinkpad L420 with the following configuration:

Intel Core i3 2310M (Sandy Bridge)

Will this device and its drivers get support for Windows 10?

I found a list on Lenovo website which lists supported systems for Windows 10 Upgrade.

For my device important is.

The following configurations are NOT supported:
• Intel 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors (Sandy Bridge)

Is this the final state or is Lenovo working for Windows 10 drivers for older devices?

Betreff: Windows 10 support for Thinkpad L420?

Its not Lenovos duty to do so, its Intels. And they won´t release Windows 10 drivers for the Tx20 series, so Lenovo won´t either.

You can still install Windows 10 though. Works perfect on the T420 we have here.

Yes it will indeed be conpatible unless if you have the following config which is

Intel core I5 2520m

8gb ram

500gb hdd

you can still try it on the config you listed but it wont be as fast or might not even work!
