В первую очередь, Lenovo Vantage помогает получить данные о ПК и обновить программное обеспечение. Обновление касается как драйверов, так и дополнительных утилит для устройств Lenovo. Кроме того, софт позволяет настроить вспомогательные функции компьютера, включая параметры управления питанием, режимы подсветки клавиатуры и переназначение функциональных клавиш. Lenovo Thinkvantage toolbox /pc-doctor was sunsetted Feb 2012 without any notice to the customer. The webpage upated date was just that. LSC states many false alerts, thus I keep LSC uninstalled. I have jan 2012 pc-doctor.

I have a ThinkPad SL410. I recently moved from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I have downloaded Solution Center. However, I can’t figure out how to remove Thinkvantage Toolbox.

I receive numerous popups labeled as «Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox» with messages like:

The external tool «PrintersAndFaxesFolder» could not be found for os «Windows Unknown Major Release Service Pack 0 Professional x86 64-bit»

Device Discovery Error

Your system was busy performing other tasks when attempting to collect information.

Eventually Windows pops up a message that «Lenovo ThinkVantage Toolbox has stopped working.»

When I try to uninstall the Toolbox «app,» Windows says it is Unavailable.

How do I uninstall ThinkVantage Toolbox or at least stop it from trying to run?

In the past, Lenovo shipped:

(1) diagnostic software, Lenovo Thinkvantage Toolbox(PC-Doctor) which was replaced by diagnostic software, Lenovo Solution Center. Uninstall of pc-doctor should be in add/remove programs.

(2) Lenovo device experience, this is a panel system

a. It stuffed Lenovo Device experince in printer land.

b It stuffed Lenovo Thinkvantage TOOLS in printer land

The TOOLBOX software and 2 panels noted were discontinued with windows 8.

If the panel system is causing issues. It should not cause issues at start up time. If you click the start program entry, you would get errors. Workaround: delete the start entrys for the 2 panel systems.

The TOOLBOX software has 3 entries in the windows task scheduler, one for daily run and one for monthly checkup, and 1 for eventid.

Workaround: delete the 3 entries from the task scheduler.

Lenovo Vantage работает только на ноутбуках, произведенных компанией Lenovo. Данная утилита — это, в некоторой степени, расширенная и улучшенная версия программы-предшественника Lenovo Energy Management.

Описание Lenovo Vantage

К сожалению, компания Lenovo решила сделать свое приложение Vantage доступным только в Windows Store. Это не проблема, если вы зарегистрированы в магазине. Но иногда необходимо быстро и без регистрации в Windows Store загрузить и установить данную программу. Поэтому мы разместили файл-установщик у себя нас сайте без использования Магазина Windows.

Возможности программы Lenovo Vantage

С помощью утилиты Lenovo Vantage возможно:

• Осуществлять контроль энергопотребления и управление зарядом батареи. В том числе можно значительно увеличить долговечность батареи ноутбука за счёт поддержания частичного заряда (до 50%) при использовании от сети. Это очень крутая функция! Батарея служит дольше, менять аккумулятор придётся реже.
• Обновлять драйвера автоматически.
• Обновлять BIOS материнской платы до последней официальной версии.
• Настраивать WiFi и другие модули.
• Проверить отметку о гарантии вашего устройства.
• Другие специальные функции в зависимости от модели ноутбука.

Установка

• Скачайте и распакуйте Lenovo Vantage из ZIP-архива.
• Запустите включенный BAT-файл от имени администратора.
