Lenovo y570 windows 10 drivers

Dear Lenovo support,

I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and recognized some troubles with the Wifi driver. I’m getting disconnected time by time. On bootup, everything works fine, after a couple of minutes I just have limited access. When disconnecting and reconnecting the network, it works fine again, but a couple of minutes later, this problems repeats. I assume this happens due to driver issues. I already have the latest driver installed from the lenovo support website, but the problem still remains.

Any suggested solutions or driver updates coming soon?

I am not sure which card do you have but I am using:

Intel(R) Centrino(R) Wireless-N 1000

Driver supplier: Intel

Driver date: 2014-11-17

Driver version: 15.11.0.8

I have not seen any problems with this driver so far on Windows 10. No disconnecting or drops.

The most probable way to solve your problem is to download an update driver from Lenovo site for your unit if there is one. If there is no update then you can try Intel’s site if your wifi card is an Intel.

I have a Broadcom 802.11n built in. From the broadcom website I only find Linux drivers.

You can try uninstalling the driver. Reboot so that Windows can install its own. See if this solves the problem. If not, reinstall the driver (from Lenovo site or from your D drive). Check again if the problem dissappear.

Why not give Lenovo a call? You should be able to talk to their tech about your problem.

Have you tried Windows 7 drivers?

Yes, Windows 7 drivers were installed initially. But I will try again and also install them manually.
