С заливкой картриджей дело часто понятно, а вот с службой принтера в Linux бывает всё намного труднее. Обычно всё происходит автоматически, но иногда это необходимо сделать вручную. Для установки принтера изберите в меню команды Система| Администрирование| Печать (System | Administration | Printing), и на экране покажется окно настройки принтера. Существуют сотки (если не тысячи) марок и моделей принтеров, потому вполне естественно, что у вас могут возникнуть нелегкости при установке вашего принтера в Linux.

Админы могут использовать пакеты универсального драйвера печати Lexmark для осуществлении политики организации по охране окружающей среды. Применяемые по умолчанию настройки очереди можно менять таким образом, чтобы учитывать механизм двусторонней печати, многостраничную печать (N-страниц), плотность тонера и иные средства для экономии ресурсов.

Как установить драйверы для принтера Lexmark Z1300 для Ubuntu 13.10

Водворите общие пакеты драйверов принтера в Ubuntu:

sudo apt-get install cups-client cups-common cups-daemon cups-filters cups-ppdc cups-server-common debconf ghostscript libavahi-client3 libavahi-common3 libc-bin libc6 libcups2 libcupscgi1 libcupsimage2 libcupsmime1 libcupsppdc1 libgcc1 libstdc++6 libusb-1.0-0 lsb-base poppler-utils procps

Потом используйте принтер с приложением system-config-printer-gnome

Аппарат принтера Lexmark серии Z600 (32 колочена)

Необходимо установить пакеты — alien и libstdc++5.

sudo aptitude install alien libstdc++5

1. Болтаем драйвер с сайта производителя (он будет в rpm) и размещаем его в новую директорию lexmark в вашей семейней директории.

2. В консоли выполняем последующее (я пользовался Krusader):

#Реорганизуем rpm пакеты в deb

sudo gunzip Lexmark-Z600-lxz600cj-cups.ppd.gz

sudo /etc/init.d/cupsys restart

Драйвер аппараты Lexmark MS317dn для Linux

• Запустить скрипт наладчика GUI в терминале.
• Откройте любимый терминал (консоль, xterm, gnome-terminal, иные).
• Извлеките zip-файл.
• Используйте команду ниже, дабы установить драйвер #. / Lexmark-inkjet- [xx] -driver- [xxx] .. i386.deb.sh.
• Вытекайте инструкциям на экране.

Лазерные принтеры Lexmark серии MS 312,317,415 с чернобелой лазерной печатью имеют примерно равновеликие характеристики. Эти принтеры используют в малых и посредственных офисах. Поскольку Lexmark использует уникальные расходные материалы, принтеры характеризуются прочностью.

Установка принтера Lexmark Z23/33 в Debian (Sarge)

Со пор у меня осталась обрезанная железка, называющаяся струйным принтером Lexmark Z23e, который достаточно терпимо работал под виндой, но, в силу собственной GDI’шной сущности, имел проблемы с службой в линуксе. На сайте лексмарка (www.lexmark.com) вразумителен драйвер lexmarkz33-1.0-3.sh, более-менее беспроблемно работающийся в престарелых редхатоидах с системой печати LPRng. Охотно судеб меня занесло на дебиан, у какого и система пакетов другая, и вообще он иной. Пришлось озадачиться над тем, как заставить работать данный GDI-принтер в совершенно враждебной для него. Для приступила установим саму систему печати:

# apt-get install lprng

В убеждении, существует скрипт foomatic-lexmark, который дозволяет использовать систему печати CUPS, но в ASP Linux 9.0, где я его распробовал в работе, не только CUPS работать не стал, но ещё и вероятность печатать через LPRng исчезла 🙂 К этому же, LPRng является не менее мощной системой, чем CUPS. неужели что CUPS в KDE можно мышкой настраивать 😉 Так что специальной мотивации для настройки CUPS в дебиане у меня нет.

Сейчас распакуем содержимое скрипта:

Дальше среди кучи всей ерунды покажется rpm-ка с самым главным, её нужно сконвертировать с поддержкою alien:

# alien —to-deb lexmarkz33-1.0-3.i386.rpm

# dpkg -i lexmarkz33-1.0-4_i386.deb

Никаких связей в deb не попало, поэтому нужно руками водворить старый libc и прописать принтер в /etc/printcap. В убеждении, можно сконвертировать rpm в tgz, всё равно никаких способностей deb’а использовать не будем 🙂 Итак, устанавливаем нужную версию библиотеки:

# apt-get install libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2

Вот содержание /etc/printcap, которое прописывает установщик:

С драйвером идут собственные библиотеки, ложащиеся в /usr/local/lib, поэтому необходимо прописать туда путь в /etc/ld.so.conf и швырнуть ldconfig. Кроме того, для работы скрипта-враппера нужен enscript.

Убедитесь, что у вас этот пакет заслуживает. Также нужен (не помню, для чего 🙂 libslang.

В драйвере находится демон lexlmd, который чего-то мониторит, его также бы нужно запустить, например, при загрузке системы. Творим в /etc/init.d/ скрипт под именем lexlmd с подобным содержимым:

и творим сиволическую ссылку в нужный runlevel:

Ещё хорошо убедиться, что подгружены нужные модули для службы с usb-принтерами. В моём случае отключены любые plug’n’play’ности, поэтому необходимо загрузить модуль usb-хаба (для чипсета SiS735 это ohci-hcd), какой потом сам грузит usbcore и usblp для свежеобнаруженного принтера.

Когда plug’n’play’ности включены, пример, discover, то ничего руками делать, быстрее всего, не придётся. Теперь можно отведать запустить /usr/local/bin/z23-z33lsc. Графические прибамбасы лексмарка утилизируют GTK1.2, так что озаботьтесь наличием в системе libgtk1.2. Для соответственного отображения надписей пришлось немного настроить GTK. Вот содержание .gtkrc в моём домашнем каталоге:

Когда всё до этого момента прошло хорошо, то вы увидите примерно такое окно «Центра поддержки». Если драйвер или графические утилиты при печати станут ругаться на отсутствующую libstdc++-libc6.1.1.so.2, то сотворите симлинк с таким именем на libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 и опустите ldconfig. Если что-либо ругаться не стало, то теперь можно печатать из OpenOffice’а, KDE’шных прог и т.д.

В рента всё тоже работает прекрасно. Печатаем с поддержкою lpr, чистим очередь lprm, смотри её положение lpq:

У драйвера имеется некоторые проблемы в принципе. Например, он обливает много чернил (больше, чем в винде при подобном же режиме), неправильно рассчитывает вертикальные единицу (нужно в графической конфигурялке принтера ставить поставить размер листа по вертикали приблизительно на 20мм больше, чем есть), и у меня в ASP9.0 не вышло распечатать больше 4 листов подряд, на 5-м печать с глюками и реликвиями на бумаге обрывается.

Ещё существует интересный конфиг

/var/spool/lexmark/z23-z33.conf, какой вдвое больше конфига с таким же именованием, создающимся в

/.lexmark. В этом конфиге возможно встретить данные калибровки головок, число «отстрелянных» точек (в секции [dotcounts]), а вдобавок одну из самых ценных настроек — resolution (в dpi).

Очертив значение 300, я получил такой же расход бесславил, как и в винде при быстрой печати. Т.е. из проблем сохранился только размер листа по вертикали, может быть, в скором времени и её получится более напрямую решить. Таким образом, получили практически полностью виндовую функциональность.

В первоначальном и втором случае действуйте так, как будто сетный принтер — это обычный принтер, подключаемый к пк. В третьем случае — как говорится, приплыли (быстрее всего:). Лично со мной подобное случилось, когда я пытался достучаться до сетного принтера Lexmark — в итоге мне пришлось включить его к Windows-компьютеру и сделать его доступным в сети уже оттуда.

SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

The warranty period is ninety (90) days and commences on the date the Software Program is delivered to the original end-user. 6. FREEWARE. Notwithstanding the terms and conditions of this Software License Agreement, all or any portion of the Software Program that constitutes software provided under public license by third parties («Freeware») is licensed to you subject to the terms and conditions of the software license agreement accompanying such Freeware, whether in the form of a discrete agreement, shrink-wrap license, or electronic license terms at the time of download or installation. Use of the Freeware by you shall be governed entirely by the terms and conditions of such license.

7. LIMITATION ON REVERSE ENGINEERING. You may not alter, decrypt, reverse engineer, reverse assemble, reverse compile or otherwise translate the Software Program or assist or otherwise facilitate others to do so, except as and to the extent expressly permitted to do so by applicable law for the purposes of inter-operability, error correction, and security testing. If you have such statutory rights, you will notify Licensor in writing of any intended reverse engineering, reverse assembly, or reverse compilation. 8. TRANSFER. You may transfer the Software Program to another end-user. Any transfer must include all software components, media, printed materials, and this Software License Agreement and you may not retain copies of the Software Program or components thereof. The transfer may not be an indirect transfer, such as a consignment. Prior to the transfer, the end-user receiving the transferred Software Program must agree to all these Software License Agreement terms. Upon transfer of the Software Program, your license is automatically terminated. You may not rent, sublicense, or assign the Software Program except to the extent provided in this Software License Agreement.

9. UPGRADES. To Use a Software Program identified as an upgrade, you must first be licensed to the original Software Program identified by Licensor as eligible for the upgrade. After upgrading, you may no longer use the original Software Program that formed the basis for your upgrade eligibility.

10. ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE. This Software License Agreement applies to updates or supplements to the original Software Program provided by Licensor unless Licensor provides other terms along with the update or supplement.

11. TERM. This Software License Agreement becomes effective upon your acceptance and continues in effect unless terminated or rejected. You may reject or terminate this license at any time by destroying all copies of the Software Program, together with all modifications, documentation, and merged portions in any form, or as otherwise described herein. Licensor may terminate your license upon notice if you fail to comply with any of the terms of this Software License Agreement. Upon such termination, you agree to destroy all copies of the Software Program together with all modifications, documentation, and merged portions in any form.

12. TAXES. You agree that you are responsible for payment of any taxes including, without limitation, any goods and services and personal property taxes, resulting from this Software License Agreement or your Use of the Software Program.

13. LIMITATION ON ACTIONS. No action, regardless of form, arising out of this Software License Agreement may be brought by either party more than two years after the cause of action has arisen, except as provided under applicable law.

14. APPLICABLE LAW. If you acquired this product in a country which is a member of the European Union, the laws of that country shall govern the interpretation of this Software License Agreement and any claims arising hereunder, regardless of choice of laws principles of any other jurisdiction. If you acquired this product in any other country, the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States of America, shall govern the interpretation of this Software License Agreement and any claims arising hereunder, regardless of choice of laws principles of any other state. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply.

15. GOVERNMENT END USERS. The Software Program and any related documentation are «Commercial Items,» as that term is defined in 48 C.F.R. 2.101, «Computer Software» and «Commercial Computer Software Documentation,» as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. 12.212 or 48 C.F.R. 227.7202, as applicable. Consistent with 48 C.F.R. 12.212 or 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 through 227.7207-4, as applicable, the Commercial Computer Software and Commercial Software Documentation are licensed to the U.S. Government end users (a) only as Commercial Items and (b) with only those rights as are granted to all other end users pursuant to the terms and conditions herein.

16. CONSENT TO PROCESS AND TRANSFER DATA. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, laws pertaining to the collection and use of personal data. You agree that Licensor, its affiliates, and agents may collect and process information (including any personal data) you provide or that is gathered or generated by the Software Program in relation to (i) any support services performed in connection with the Software Program and requested by you, (ii) enabling any functionality of the Software Program or services provided by Licensor, or (iii) enabling Licensor to perform any other services related to the Software Program as you and Licensor may agree. Licensor agrees to process the information only to the extent necessary to provide such services or enable the functionality of the Software Program. You represent that in relation to any personal data Licensor is permitted to access under this Agreement you have obtained or will obtain (a) any consents from the data subjects and/or (b) any other permissions or authorizations related to processing of the personal data that are required by applicable law. You agree that Licensor may transfer your information to the United States or other countries for processing in accordance with this Section.

17. EXPORT RESTRICTIONS. You may not (a) acquire, ship, transfer, or reexport, directly or indirectly, the Software Program or any direct product therefrom, in violation of any applicable export laws or (b) permit the Software Program to be used for any purpose prohibited by such export laws, including, without limitation, nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons proliferation.

18. AGREEMENT TO CONTRACT ELECTRONICALLY. You and Licensor agree to form this Software License Agreement electronically. This means that by downloading, installing and/or using the Software Program, you acknowledge your agreement to these Software License Agreement terms and conditions and that you are doing so with the intent to «sign» a contract with Licensor.

19. CAPACITY AND AUTHORITY TO CONTRACT. You represent that you are of the legal age of majority in the place you sign this Software License Agreement and, if applicable, you are duly authorized by your employer or principal to enter into this contract.

20. ENTIRE AGREEMENT. This Software License Agreement (including any addendum or amendment to this Software License Agreement that is included with the Software Program) is the entire agreement between you and Licensor relating to the Software Program. Except as otherwise provided for herein, this Software License Agreement supersedes all prior or contemporaneous oral or written communications, proposals, and representations with respect to the Software Program or any other subject matter covered by this Software License Agreement (except to the extent such extraneous terms do not conflict with the terms of this Software License Agreement, any other written agreement signed by you and Licensor relating to your use of the Software Program). To the extent any Licensor policies or programs for support services conflict with the terms of this Software License Agreement, the terms of this Software License Agreement shall control.
