Known Issue: Several Avid Community Forum members and Beta testers have reported an issue where after 3 hours of continuous streaming, audio output will not function when an application such as Windows Media player is paused, stopped or closed. We have been unable to reproduce this issue internally. The known workaround is to restart Windows Audio Service. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc and select the Processes Tab. Right-click Audiosrv and choose stop. Then right-click it again and choose to start the service.

Драйвера, которые шли на диске с M-Audio Audiophile 2496 становиться под 7ку наотрез отказались. Но я не растерялся, идем на официальный сайт. Находим карту, кликаем «Drivers», получаем список драйверов либо просто переходим по ссылке (там еще нужно систему выбрать, что б отфильтровать лишнее).

По хорошему, после установки должно было случиться чудо и в колонках должна была появиться музыка . но в моем случае этого не случилось. Снес драйвера, попробовал по новой — тот же результат. Начал обижаться. Полез в гугл, и всезнающий гугл предложил такой вариант:

1. Удаляем драйвера
2. Вынимаем карточку из слота (т.е. совсем, физически вынимаем из слота и кладем перед собой, что б никуда не потерялась)
3. При вытянутой карточке еще раз ставим драйвера и выключаем компьютер
4. Вставляем обратно карточку и включаем компьютер
5. Ждем чуда

В моем случае чудо произошло с первой попытки. Надеюсь Вам этот метод тоже поможет.
