Настройка монитора Samsung 960bf win10 x64. MagicTune

Попался мне мониторчик Samsung 960bf. Заменил в нем подсветку на светодиодную и поставил на комп с Win10 x64. Подключен по DVI интерфейсу. Решил подстроить яркость/контраст и обнаружил что кнопок настройки нет. Ниже описание решения вопроса

Поддержка драйверов не ведется уже давно. Самая последняя версия для Win7.
И так запустил настройку следующим образом:
1. скачал с официального сайта версию программы для win7 x64.

1. Ссылка на сайт samsung.
2. Ссылка на googledrive.

2. установил программу. перезагрузил Win.
3. Через свойства программы зашел в папку в которой она расположена. у меня это: «C:\Program Files (x86)\MagicTune Premium».
4. Изменил настройки совместимости на «совместимость с Windows7» для следующих файлов:

Добрый день!Подскажите пожалуйста, когда наконец появится новая версия MagicTune для 64 битных систем? Текущая версия (3.0.5) и не поддерживает целый ряд современных видеокарт.Например с картами ATI Radeon 5850/5870 (Win7 x64/Catalyst 10.3) MagicTune не работает (пробовал мониторы 970P/193P+ через DVI).Данные адаптеры полностью поддерживают протокол DDC/CI, так что проблемы, очевидно, не в них. Направлял несколько писем через . Ответа так и не последовало.

Данное программное обеспечение больше не поддерживается, приносим свои извинения. Настройки монитора, возможно, произвести через драйвер видеокарты.

А с каких это пор данное ПО больше не поддерживается? Версия для x64 вышла в ноябре 2009, а версия для х86 совсем недавно (февраль 2010). Кроме того, на странице MagicTune ничего об окончании поддержки не сказано!http://www.samsung.com/Products/Monitors/magictune/magictune_01s.htm

у меня монитор 970P и видеокарта ZOTAC AMP! GeFocre gt240 Дравер самый свежий.Последняя версия MT — 4.0.7 — не работает на Win 7 х64.Версия 3.2.2 работает только на Win 7 x32.Версия 4.0.9 не скачивается, вместо МТ по ссылке http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/lear . une409.zipскачиваются папки с картинками.Когда ж наконец выйдет версия нормально работающая на Win 7 x64? Очень жду.

мне что новый монитор покупать?! я куплю, я просто постараюсь больше никогда не связываться с вашей продукцией, ведь кому нужны продукты которые в скором времени вообще перестанут работать без должного программного обеспечения. или вы поняли, что ставить переделанное ядро линукса (Android) на свои железки гораздо выгоднее и интереснее чем
нанимать специалистов для написания необходимого программного обеспечения под них.

При запуске MagicTune компьютер зависает или аварийно перегружается. Система Windows 7 64bit. Вы писали что можно как то настроить монитор через драйвер. Как это сделать? У меня картинка на мониторе улезла за край экрана, в том числе и на экране загрузки. Еще до запуска Windows. Как это поправить? Никаких кнопок на мониторе нет, кроме кнопки включения.

Recently I switched to Windows 8.1 from Windows 7. Windows 8.1 is much better than Windows 8 according to my experience. However I faced some problems with some applications and device drivers. The main problem was Windows 8.1 doesn’t support monitor optimization software, Samsung MagicTune Premium. Samsung’s MagicTune download center doesn’t provide MagicTune for Widnows 8. In that case we need to find the tool our selves. After few hours of browsing I found a solution.

So If you are looking for download MagicTune for Widnows 8 or 8.1, There are two options.

Download MagicTune Lite – Widnows 8

MagicTune Lite is a simplified version of MagicTune Premium. It doesn’t start automatically with the windows. You need to run it as any other software. But settings will keep by the monitor until you change it back again.

Download MagicTune Premium – Widnows 8

MagicTune premium is the full software with all features. Make sure you have the latest version of video drivers before you proceed with this software.

The 64 bit version doesn’t work. It seems to install but doesn’t. Running Windows 8 Pro 8.1. Think its a problem with the installer compared to the 32bit version which works ok.

I am running x64 of course, forgot to mention that. Also, thanks for this tip 🙂

Files don’t exist for full after setup, lite displays “This Monitor does not support MagicTune Lite”. I have Samsung S24A450B.

I have managed to install 64-bit version of MagicTune Premium by first installing the older version (for my Samsung T220 monitor) and then upgrading using the newer installer. Now it works for me on Windows 8.1 pro.

I have an SAA300 Syncmaster series and it worked in Windows 8.1 pro X64! Pay atention!

1. Install an older version of magictune premium here: http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/learningresources/monitor/magetune/pop_download.html. Install it but do not restart.

2. Upgrade with magictune premium from the link provided in this site. It still doesn´t work.

3. Download Magictune lite and run it. It will capture your monitor and handle basic issues like bright, contrast and others.

4. Go to C:\Program Files\MagicTune Premium and all *.exe files put it in windows 7 compatibility mode.

5. Restart your PC

6. Voila! it works!

I have to say that in w7 it did not work never and with this trick it did also.

Followed the steps above; the lite version seems to fire up and control my 2693HM but the premium version starts and doesn’t show a GUI or anything.

Oh sorry, Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit w/ 2x GTX 580s if that helps.

after a couple times failed to install version 4.0.36, I put the installer in windows 7 compatibility mode and during the time when it asked for directory I type in a folder name located in C:\. Finally it worked.

Thanks Zuma, it works as your note for my Samsung S24C650DW bought a few days ago. It’s a shame from Samsung to sell a monitor at this time, but its softs are … (I see from details) dated 2010, and the softs in its DVD delivered are not working, neither on W8.1 nor W10! So the user has to dig internet to find solution: MagicTunePremium_32Bit_4.0.27_26AUG2013 works on W8.1×64, while MagicTunePremium_64Bit_4.0.36_26AUG2013 needs the W7 compatibility mode to be installed

one slight problem though it fails to load each time when re-enabling graphics device, which I do from time to time (had to restart graphics card because display wouldn’t resume from monitor sleep)

MagicTunePremium_64Bit_4.0.36_26AUG2013 works with Windows 7 x64 with SyncMaster 226CW.

Как оптимизировать SSD с утилитой Samsung SSD Magician

Чтобы использовать возможности SSD по максимуму, необходимо соответствующее программное обеспечение — такое как бесплатная утилита Samsung Magician, которая позволяет обновлять прошивку, производить тесты производительности SSD и оптимизировать работу операционной системы согласно параметрам устройства.

Программа предназначена для работы со всеми SSD Samsung, включая серии 470, 750, 830, 840, 850, 860, 950, 960 и 970. Она не подойдёт для накопителей других производителей. С её помощью можно легко проверить оригинальность железа: в случае покупки неоригинального SSD Magician уведомит пользователя о том, что он приобрел не фирменный продукт.

Как использовать Magician?

Первое, что нужно сделать, — загрузить утилиту с официального сайта Samsung. Приложение абсолютно бесплатно и не предлагает приобрести «плюс-версию».

Основной раздел Magician посвящён управлению дисками — в нём пользователи могут тестировать производительность своих SSD и обновлять их прошивку. Помимо этого Magician даёт пользователям возможность оптимизировать работу накопителя, если ПК работает на ОС Windows 8 и выше. Разрешено сделать акцент на производительности, ёмкости или надёжности — либо открыть вкладку «Дополнительно» и сбалансировать параметры вручную.

Ещё одна настройка позволяет выбрать оптимальный баланс между ёмкостью и долговечностью накопителя. Это пункт Over Provisioning, где можно задать размер резервной области SSD. Можно использовать рекомендованное компанией Samsung выделение ресурсов или установить объём вручную. Это обеспечит постоянное свободное место на диске, чтобы элементы NAND изнашивались равномерно. Samsung рекомендует устанавливать объём резервной области 10%, но пользователь может выбрать любое значение до 50%.

Вкладка Secure Erase позволяет безопасно очистить диск за несколько секунд.

Для повышения быстродействия системы утилита предлагает активировать режим RAPID, который использует до 1 ГБ системной памяти в качестве кэша для часто используемых («горячих») данных. Во вкладке «Безопасность данных» показано, какие функции защиты данных доступны для каждого из дисков, и как их активировать.

Опция PSID Revert, появившаяся в одной из последних версий программы, помогает устранить ошибки, которые могут привести к блокировке диска. При её использовании будьте осторожны: все данные на диске будут удалены.

Для обеспечения максимальной безопасности данных на SSD предлагается инструмент Encrypted Drive, который шифрует диск средствами ОС с использованием функции Windows BitLocker.
