MagicaVoxel – приложение с открытым исходным кодом для Windows, представляющее собой воксельный графический редактор. Как и MCSkin3D, данная утилита может использоваться с целью создания объектов и персонажей для игры Minecraft. Пользователи могут разрабатывать трехмерные модели объектов, состоящие из пикселей. Есть возможность экспортировать проекты в формат OBJ.
Редактирование
Главное окно программы состоит из рабочей области, цветовой палитры и панели инструментов. В качестве основы для создания модели можно использовать геометрические фигуры, например, куб или сферу. При помощи инструмента для добавления и удаления пикселей следует придать объекту желаемую форму.
Есть возможность менять цвет каждой точки и выбирать параметры заливки. Кроме того, утилита имеет встроенный движок для рендеринга. Благодаря низким требованиям к системным ресурсам программа может использоваться даже на слабых компьютерах.

С его помощью можно быстро и без навыков сделать картинку в стиле Monument Valley и Crossy Road.
Принцип работы такой: при создании нового проекта у вас есть 3D-куб — в правом верхнем углу можно настроить его размеры.
Для создания первого 3D-проекта достаточно освоить три основных инструмента — вырезание клеток (Erase), добавление новых (Attach) и покраска (Paint).

Если после установки на macOS показывается черный экран, перетащите значок приложения из папки, а потом верните обратно.

Никогда в жизни не сделать в нем уровень Monument Valley. Разрешающая способность рядом не стояла. Но быстрые достаточно топорные, но прикольные иллюстрации сделать можно. Инструмент веселый и простой. А еще можно сохранить как obj и импортировать любимой 3d-программрй, в которой настроить материалы, свет и т.д. В арсенале точно не помешает 🙂
