После последней перезагрузки перестали устанавливаться любые USB дисковые накопители. В диспетчере устройств стоят красные крестики напротив устройств, в свойствах сказано «Не удалось загрузить драйвер этого устройства. Возможно, драйвер поврежден или отсутствует. (Код 39)». Однако все остальные USB устройства работают отлично. Даже принтер, в который установлен картридер, система обнаруживает и все с ним нормально, а вот этот встроенный картридер не устанавливается.
Происходит это так: драйвер устройства Mass Storage пытается установиться (появляется иконка в трее «Установка программного обеспечения для устройства»), но буквально через секунду сменяется на «Программное обеспечение для устройства не было установлено» с причиной «Отказ».

Перепробованные действия:
1. Установить драйвер из папок winsxs, FileRepository, drivers. Нифига
2. Вынуть все устройства, включить отображение скрытых устройств в диспетчере задач, удалить эти устройства, перезагрузить компьютер, подсоединить эти устройства и установить драйвера снова — та же проблема.
3. Удалить хост контроллеры и все устройства, перезагрузить компьютер. Не помогло
4. Подсоединить устройства не через хаб — то же самое

Windows 7 Максимальная 7600.16385 х64 Russian

Оборудование:
Ноутбук Acer Aspire 8920g, устройства подключены по-разному, т.е. некоторые напрямую, другие через хаб. Пробовал менять способ подключения — ни фи га

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

This issue could happen if there are corrupted/incompatible drivers which are not recognizing the drivers in Windows 10.

Have you installed any third party Antivirus/software onto computer.

If yes try to disable it and then try to connect it into the PC.

I recommend you to download and update the drivers for USB and DVD from manufacture website to check the issue.

Method 1: Run Hardware troubleshooter

Follow these steps to run hardware troubleshooter.

Type troubleshooting in search box.

Select view all on the top left pane.

Click on Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter and follow the prompts to run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: If the issue still persist, I would suggest you to reinstall the USB drivers and check if it helps.

1. Press Windows Key + X, and select Device Manager
2. Expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers section by clicking on the «+» sign.
3. Uninstall each of the devices under the USB Controller section by right-clicking on each one, and then clicking Uninstall.
4. Close the Device Manager and restart your computer. Windows will automatically re-install the USB controllers in your computer, without you having to do anything further. Your computer will now run USB devices properly.

Also update chipset drivers for USB for windows 10 from the manufacturer’s website.

Windows 10, USB 3, External HDD, USB Mass storage Device, Device not recognised, error code 10

My computer has two operating systems (Duel Boot) Windows 7 and Windows 10, there are no errors or problems with Windows 7.

Windows 10 is also working fine except for the problem I’m having with an external hard drive connected to any of the USB 3 ports, the error when connected says the «USB device is not recognised» and has malfunctioned. In device manager the yellow exclamation mark is next to this device showing a code 10.

USB flash drives will work OK with these ports.

My Mother Board (Asus P8Z68 DELUXE) does not support windows 10 so downloading the drivers I need (chipset, USB 3) from the manufacturers website is not an option so I have to rely on Microsoft drivers.

I have unistalled and reinstalled this device and tried auto updating the drivers but it says I already have the best driver installed.

For now I have my external drive connected to a USB 2 port which works fine but transferring gigabytes of data takes much longer to do.

A solution to this problem would be appreciated.

Sorry to know that you are facing this issue.

You may want to get the BIOS version updated and check if that helps. To get the BIOS updated you need to contact the Asus support.

Note : Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.

I checked my BIOS and going by the ASUS website I already have the latest version installed (3603 for Win7 & Win8 )

When I upgraded to Windows 10 a message came up instructing me to uninstall the «Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver» because it was incompatible.

I decided to try and re-install the software and driver so I downloaded it from ASUS (only available by choosing Windows 7 as the installed operating system) and re-installed it and to my surprise it installed without any issues and all is working fine and I can now gain access to my external hard drives via the USB 3 Ports.

Hope this helps anyone with a similar problem.

Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel

Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel.

Click on View all on the left navigation pane.

Click on Hardware and devices.

Click on Advanced on the Hardware and devices dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).

Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Hardware and devices troubleshooter.

This is in Reply to Comfy (2)’s Post and Kiran Kishore’s Post.

I am having the same problem as Comfy (2) is having. My Western Digital 2TB drive had previously come up in My Computer and I was able to play video files off of it and everything, when my computer rebooted, is still is in my device manager and says its working ok but it is not showing up in My Computer any longer nor can I see its files. I have run the Troubleshooting Windows Software mentioned above and it says its working fine. Although I did notice that it is using Windows drivers, could that be a problem? Should it have its own driver from WD? I also can’t update the driver as I am guessing its the latest one from Windows. I have tried everything that Comfy (2) has done. This computer is literally brand new a few days ago and is Window 10 x64 and the only other thing I can think of is that I think it is USB 1 or 2 the device but I have USB 2 and 3 USB Ports. Oh, and I don’t get any error codes either, as its supposedly working.

I would greatly appreciate any support & Thank You in advance for your Time and Effort! Christine

Edit: I found out the problem through Disk Management, it is Offline: This drive is offline due to a «Signature Collision», one or more drives has the same signature. In this can be corrected as Western Digital has this error and reply on how to fix it but not for Windows 10 only for Windows 8 & 7. I have a support ticket into them. Unlike Windows, it is very hard to find anything on their support site, basically when you put in a question even if its worded correctly the only answer that has any relevance is at the bottom of the page. I only mention that for anyone else looking that will go looking for this answer themselves. If you you have a Western Digital drive, download or start their Utilities Software and on the Diagnose Tab and the First Test says its good and the next two tests seem like they don’t even run past the first green bar then fails it, go into your Disk Management, if there is a little yellow ! on it hover over it and it will tell you whats wrong with it. Hope this helps anyone looking for answers they can’t seem to find when their drive is ok but, you can’t see it in My Computer or see its files. Christine

Основные неполадки

Существует множество причин, по которым вы можете столкнуться с тем, что компьютер не воспринимает флешку. Проблема может проявится в любой версии операционной системы от Microsoft — от Windows XP до Windows 10. Если компьютер не распознает подключенную флешку, то это может быть одна из следующих причин:

• компьютер пишет Вставьте диск даже если флешка была только что подключена;
• появляется значок подключенной флешки и характерный звук, но флешка не отображается в проводнике;
• появляется предложение на форматирование диска;
• появляется сообщение о том, что произошла ошибка данных
• компьютер виснет при подключении флешки
• компьютер пишет, что устройство не опознано

В начале рассмотрим наиболее простые способы постепенно увеличивая накал страстей. Если ваша флешка повреждена физически (обязательно проверьте её на наличие различных повреждений), то программно её починить не получится никак.

Также стоит заметить, что есть фирменные утилиты производителей флэш накопителей, таких как Kingston, Sandisk, Silicon Power и других. Воспользуйтесь ими, если предложенные инструкции не помогут.

Самые первые действия

Прежде чем начать чинить флешку, попробуйте проделать самые простые действия:

• если вы подключаете флешку через удлинитель или USB-хаб, то попробуйте подключить её напрямую;
• попробуйте подключить флешку во все имеющиеся порты USB;
• попробуйте отключить посторонние устройства, например, веб-камеру, оставить только клавиатуру и мышь и подключить флешку, если компьютер увидит её, то дело в нехватки мощности вашего блока питания, пора задуматься о его смене.

Средство устранения неполадок USB в Windows

Лучше всего начать с фирменной утилиты от самой Microsoft, которая позволяет устранить проблемы с USB накопителями. Утилита подходи для всех популярных версий ОС Windows (7,8,10). Она является наиболее простым и безопасным способом.

После запуска утилиты нажмите кнопку Далее , чтобы посмотреть, были ли исправлены проблемы. В процессе исправления ошибок, проверяются следующие элементы (рисунок ниже):

• USB-устройство может быть не распознано при подключении через USB-порт из-за использования верхних и нижних фильтров в реестре.
• USB-устройство может быть не распознано при подключении через USB-порт из-за использования поврежденных верхних и нижних фильтров в реестре.
• USB-принтер не печатает. Вероятно, это вызвано сбоем при попытке печати или другими неполадками. В таком случае отключить USB-принтер, возможно, не удастся.
• и далее по списку

В случае успешного устранения какой-либо проблемы, вы увидите сообщение об этом. Обязательно попробуйте снова подключить ваш USB накопитель после использования утилиты и убедитесь, что проблема исправлена.

Инструмент «Управление дисками»

Запустить утилиту управления дисками можно одним из следующих способов:

• Win + R , ввести команду diskmgmt.msc , нажать Enter

• Панель управления — Администрирование — Управление компьютером — Управление дисками

В окне управления дисками, обратите внимание, появляется и исчезает ли флешка при ее подключении и отключении от компьютера.

В лучшем случае, если при подключении компьютер увидит флешку и все разделы на ней (обычно он один такой) будут в состоянии «Исправен». В этом случае:

• кликните по нему правой кнопкой мыши, в контекстном меню выберите строку Сделать раздел активным
• присвоить букву флешке (если потребуется)

Обычно этого достаточно для устранения проблемы.

Если раздел неисправен или удален, то в статусе вы увидите «Не распределен». Для устранения проблемы:

• кликните по нему правой кнопкой мыши, в контекстном меню выберите строку Создать простой том
• создайте раздел (будет выполнено форматирование, т.е. полная очистка данных)

Если вы для вашей флешки будет отображаться метка «Неизвестный» или «Не инициализирован» и один раздел в состоянии «Не распределен», это может означать, что флешка повреждена и вам следует попробовать восстановление данных (об этом в другой статье).

Использование диспетчера устройств

Зайдите в диспетчер устройств ( Win + R, команда devmgmt.msc ) чтобы посмотреть, отображается ли ваше устройство как неизвестное, или же в разделе «Другие устройства» (рисунок ниже). Накопитель может называться своим настоящим именем или же как Запоминающее устройство для USB.

Кликните по устройству правой кнопкой мыши, выберите Удалить , затем нажмите на значок компьютера с лупой ( Обновить конфигурацию оборудования ). Это же можно проделать через кнопку Действие .

Есть вероятность, что этого будет вполне достаточно для устранения проблемы, после чего флешка появится в Проводнике .

Удаление старых драйверов USB

Этот вариант подходит, в случае если компьютер пишет «Вставьте диск», при подключении флешки. Старые драйвера для USB, имеющиеся в Windows могут вызывать такую проблему, а также ошибки, связанные с присвоением буквы флешке. Кроме этого, это же может быть причиной того, что компьютер перезагружается или зависает, когда вы вставляете флешку в USB порт. Для этого можно воспользоваться программой USBOblivion .

Компьютер не видит флешки вообще

Для этого проделаем несколько простых действий:

• зайдите в диспетчер устройств (описано выше);
• в диспетчере устройств откройте раздел Контроллеры USB;
• удалите все устройства с называниями Корневой USB концентратор, USB Host Controller или Generic USB Hub;
• выполните действие Обновить конфигурацию оборудования.

После повторной установки USB устройств, проверьте, заработали ли USB накопители на вашем компьютере или ноутбуке.

Дополнительные действия

• Проверьте свой компьютер на вирусы, они могут нарушать работу USB устройств
• Зайдите в раздел реестра Windows HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ Explorer. Если в этом разделе вы увидите параметр с именем NoDrives , удалите его и перезагрузите компьютер.
• Зайдите в раздел реестра Windows HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ System\ CurrentControlSet\ Control . Если там присутствует параметр StorageDevicePolicies , удалите его.
