- Microsoft Technical Support will provide support options and locate the appropriate support team to resolve technical support issues, which you may be facing. This may include self-help support or assisted support.
To begin with, you can visit this page, mention your country and select the product for which you wish to receive support.
- Message a Windows Advisor
- Make Microsoft call you back
- Schedule a call.
Windows 10 users can use the Contact Support app.

You may want to read these links which may help you when seeking help and support from Microsoft:

- The Microsoft Product Support Reporting Tool facilitates the gathering of critical system and logging information used in troubleshooting support issues. This information helps diagnose problems in the software quicker and provide solutions.
- Microsoft Easy Assist allows a Microsoft support professional to remotely connect to your computer and help you solve a problem. Using a secure connection, the support professional can view your desktop and perform diagnostics and troubleshooting steps.
Remember, Microsoft will never contact you on their own, for any problems you may be facing with your computer or Microsoft software and services. And in any case, you will never receive a legitimate call from Microsoft or its partners to charge you for computer fixes. If you do receive such a phone call or an email, stating that they represent Microsoft and proffer help, you can be sure that its a scam! Never give out any details or access to your computer.
NOTE: Please do not trust anyone who promises to help you or anyone who mentions his email ID/contact details in the comments below. If you have a question contact Microsoft directly or search for it here on this site by clicking here. You may be able to find a post about it.

Activate Your Windows 10 License via Microsoft Chat Support
Microsoft still includes product activation in Windows 10 to prevent piracy. Windows 10 includes a new convenient chat option for product activation. If you upgrade from an activated Windows 7 or from Windows 8.1, Windows 10 will automatically activate. If you’re transferring a Windows 10 license to a new computer and have an Internet connection, you can use chat support to activate it.
Activate Windows 10 Using Chat Support
After installing Windows 10, press Windows key + R then type: slui then hit Enter on your keyboard.
This action will launch the activation wizard. Select your country or region and click Next.
Then at the Installation ID screen, you will be prompted to call the number listed on the screen. If you have an active Internet connection, you can use the new chat option.
Click the Start button and head to All Apps > Contact Support.
You can also start chat support using your web browser. Head on over to the Microsoft Contact Us web page then click the Get started button.
Type test in the chat window then press Enter. Click No when prompted for a response.
Click No again then click talk to a person.
Using the Get Gelp in Windows 10
Click Services & Apps then click Windows.
Click Setting up then click Chat online with a Microsoft Answer Tech.
Wait while you are connected to a Microsoft Answer Tech.
After you are greeted by the call agent, explain your issue. For this particular case, I want to reactivate Windows 10. You might be asked to provide your Windows 10 product key.
If you are reactivating a Windows 10 license, make sure to clarify to the agent you want a license reactivated. Provide the Installation ID generated earlier in the activation wizard. Once your Installation ID is verified, you will be given your Confirmation ID.
Proceed to enter the Confirmation ID then click Activate Windows. And you should be good to go!
You can let the agent know the issue is resolved, then close the chat window.
Chat support can also be used to address and resolve other issues you might be experiencing in Windows 10. I was skeptical about using this, but the experience was a pleasant surprise.

Windows 10 brings hundreds of new features to Windows operating system. The new Start menu, Windows Hello (face recognition login), digital personal assistant Cortana, new Settings, tablet mode, and the powerful Edge browser are some of the highlights of Windows 10.
Because Windows 10 is vastly different from the widely used Windows 7, users who have upgraded directly from Windows 7 to Windows 10 by skipping Windows 8/8.1 need to go through a small learning curve.
There are plenty of information available on the web for novice as well as advanced users but if you are really having a hard time with one of the features of Windows 10 or if your Windows 10 PC is not working as expected, you can easily contact Microsoft support and chat with them.
You can get help if you’re having issues with activation, and Windows 10 errors, or any performance issues. Additionally, the support team will also help you in removing viruses and other malicious things from your Windows 10 computer.
The good thing is that you neither need to call Microsoft nor need to mail your issues. You can chat with the support team in real-time right from your Windows 10 device and get the support in minutes. In short, getting a support in Windows 10 easier than installing an app.
In this guide, we will show how you can contact Microsoft support right from Windows 10 and chat with them to sort out your issues.
Contact Microsoft support via chat in Windows 10
Step 1: In the Start search box, type Contact Support and then press enter key to open Contact Support app.
Step 2: If you’re not already using Microsoft account to sign-in to Windows 10, you’ll be asked to sign-in using your Microsoft account ID (email address) and password. Those of you who are not sure what Microsoft account in Windows is, please go through our difference between Microsoft and local account in Windows guide.
Step 3: In the following screen, depending on the issue you would like to sort out, click or tap the option titled Microsoft account & billing or Microsoft services and apps.
Step 4: Next, tap or click Windows.
Step 5: Tap or click one of the three options:
# Setting up (Installation, settings and activation)
# Technical support (Errors and other performance problems)
# Protecting my PC (Removing viruses and malware, etc)
Step 6: Finally, click or tap Chat online with a Microsoft Answer Tech option to begin the chat.
You can ask any questions on Windows 10 and get a replay in seconds. But before contacting Microsoft support, we suggest you check the web first for possible solutions.
How was your chat experience with Windows support team? Were you able to find resolve your issue?
