Windows Kits что это?

Всем привет Сегодня мы поговорим с вами о такой штуке как Windows Kit, которая имеет полное название такое: Windows Automated Installation Kit. Я расскажу что это, для чего используется и все такое. Ну так вот ребята, знаете что это такое? Это коллекция инструментов для развертывания Windows. Вот честно говоря я пока еще точно не могу понять что это. Первая версия Windows Kit была уже в глючной Висте.

Так, стоп ребята, Windows Kit и Windows Kits это одно и тоже или все такие разное? Я думаю что одно и тоже, просто Windows Kits идет в множественном числе, ну то есть тут инструменты именно, а не один инструмент. Ведь если посмотреть в интернете, то там так и написано, что Windows Kit это НАБОР инструментов

Так, вот что я узнал еще ребята, в Windows 8.1 есть пакет разработки SDK, ну вот в этот пакет включена политика комплектов ARM, и потом еще указывается такое как Microsoft-Windows-Kits-Secure-Boot-Policy.p7b, я не знаю что это, но видимо все в ту сторону идет, ну то есть системное что-то, виндовское.. Сразу скажу что это вряд ли грузит винду.

Я также узнал что Windows Kits может стоять в этой папке:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits

C:\Program Files\Windows Kits

И узнал что у вас в диспетчере задач может быть запущен какой-то процесс из этой папки, это нормально. И есть такая штука не только в Windows 8, но и в Windows 10, а может даже и в Windows 7. Windows Kits имеет какую-то связь с Visual Studio.

Но что такое развертывание Windows? Вот и мне стало интересно, я нашел инфу! В общем в этом плане Windows Kit позволяет изменить состав винды, то есть можно и оформление изменить, и настройки сразу задать и программы установить. Это все я имею ввиду работать с ДИСКОМ ВИНДЫ, ну то есть образом! Не с установленной виндой, а именно с установщиком! Ну короче Windows Kit это инструмент чтобы создать винду по себя и потом ее установить. Ладно, напишу еще проще, благодаря Windows Kit можно делать всякие свои сборки

Windows Hardware Lab Kit

The Windows Hardware Lab Kit (Windows HLK) is a test framework used to test hardware devices for Windows 10 and all versions of Windows Server starting with Windows Server 2016. To qualify for the Windows Hardware Compatibility Program, your product must pass certain tests using the Windows HLK.

This guide provides information about the tests that are included in the Windows Hardware Lab Kit, and instructions on how to build a test environment, automate driver and system testing, and create a submission package required to participate in the Windows Hardware Compatibility Program.

If you’re developing for Windows 10 or qualified versions of Windows Server, you must use the correct version of the HLK, as listed in the following table. Using the correct kit helps you ensure that the drivers and the system you develop are certified as compatible with Windows 10 or Windows Server.

Certify using the Virtual HLK (VHLK)! The VHLK is the entire Hardware Lab Kit pre-installed and pre-configured on a VHDX, ready to boot as a virtual machine. Use the VHLK to save setup time, quickly stand up a controller, and run Windows Hardware Certification from a virtual machine.

Windows HLK only supports testing on Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, and Windows Server 2019 systems. For testing previous versions of Windows, use the Hardware Certification Kit for Windows 8.1.

Windows Hardware Compatibility Program

To qualify for the Windows Hardware Compatibility Program, your product must pass certain tests using the Windows HLK. For guidance on which kit to use for compatibility certification, see the Windows Hardware Compatibility Program and the Windows Hardware Certification Blog.

Certification for Windows Server 2016, Azure Stack, SDDC, and later versions of these programs and qualifications must meet the Windows Hardware Compatibility Requirements as stated in the respective version of the documentation; must use the corresponding version of the HLK with matching playlist and supplemental content to generate logs; and must follow policies as stated in the Windows Server Policy document. Questions about the Azure Stack, SDDC programs, or how to submit the results for solution validation should be directed to the appropriate Microsoft technical account manager or partner management contact.

When there is a problem in either a Windows HLK test or in the operating system itself that causes certification tests to fail incorrectly, we create an errata that allows partners to bypass the problematic test. Most errata use filters to automatically filter the failure from the submission results. Filters are applied within Windows HLK Studio.

The Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) has the tools you need to customize Windows images for large-scale deployment, and to test the quality and performance of your system, its added components, and the applications running on it. The Windows ADK includes:

The Windows Assessment Toolkit and the Windows Performance Toolkit to assess the quality and performance of systems or components.

Deployment tools such as WinPE, Sysprep, and other tools that you can use to customize and deploy Windows 10 images.

Starting with Windows 10, version 1809, Windows Preinstallation Environment (PE) is released separately from the Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK). To add Windows PE to your ADK installation, download the Windows PE Addon and run the included installer after installing the ADK. This change enables post-RTM updates to tools in the ADK. After you run the installer, the WinPE files will be in the same location as they were in previous ADK installs.

A Windows ADK for Windows 10, version 20H2 will not be released. You can use the Windows ADK for Windows 10, version 2004 To deploy Windows 10, version 20H2.
