Системные утилиты в Windows

Операционная система Windows устроена таким образом, что почти полностью состоит из вспомогательных утилит, которые расположены в системной папке \WINDOWS\System32\ . Обычно пользователь не задумывается над этим, выполняя обычные процедуры за компьютером, но я немного открою перед вами завесу структуры файлов Windows.

В Windows присутствуют системные утилиты, апплеты и консоль управления.
Если с первыми всё понятно, то вторые — это файлы с расширением .cpl и все они запускаются когда Вы выбираете пункт из Панели управления.
Третья же (Консоль управления) — это оболочка, для которой разработаны специальные программы , их ещё называют оснастками (или Документами Microsoft Common Console), которые имеют расширение .msc (а сама Консоль имеет название mmc.exe ).

Все их можно вызвать с помощью сочетания клавиш Win + R и введя название, из ниже перечисленных списков.

Sysinternals File and Disk Utilities

AccessChk
This tool shows you the accesses the user or group you specify has to files, Registry keys or Windows services.

AccessEnum
This simple yet powerful security tool shows you who has what access to directories, files and Registry keys on your systems. Use it to find holes in your permissions.

CacheSet
CacheSet is a program that allows you to control the Cache Manager’s working set size using functions provided by NT. It’s compatible with all versions of NT.

Contig
Wish you could quickly defragment your frequently used files? Use Contig to optimize individual files, or to create new files that are contiguous.

Disk2vhd
Disk2vhd simplifies the migration of physical systems into virtual machines (p2v).

DiskExt
Display volume disk-mappings.

DiskMon
This utility captures all hard disk activity or acts like a software disk activity light in your system tray.

DiskView
Graphical disk sector utility.

Disk Usage (DU)
View disk usage by directory.

EFSDump
View information for encrypted files.

FindLinks
FindLinks reports the file index and any hard links (alternate file paths on the same volume) that exist for the specified file.В A file’s data remains allocated so long as at it has at least one file name referencing it.

Junction
Create Win2K NTFS symbolic links.

LDMDump
Dump the contents of the Logical Disk Manager»s on-disk database, which describes the partitioning of Windows 2000 Dynamic disks.

What’s New (June 24, 2020)

Sysmon v11.10 This update to Sysmon now captures stream content for alternate data streams into logged events, which is useful for investigating downloads tagged with ‘Mark of the Web’ (MOTW) streams, introduces an ‘is-any’ filter condition, and fixes several bugs.

Sigcheck v2.80 Sigcheck, a flexible tool for showing file versions, file signatures, and certificate stores, introduces a -p option for specifying a trust GUID for signature verification, and it now shows certificate signing chains even when a certificate in the chain is untrusted.

What’s New (April 28, 2020)

Sysmon v11.0 This major update to Sysmon includes file delete monitoring and archive to help responders capture attacker tools, adds an option to disable reverse DNS lookup, replaces empty fields with ‘-‘ to work around a WEF bug, fixes an issue that caused some ProcessAccess events to drop, and doesn’t hash main data streams that are marked as being stored in the cloud.
