MMTool — программа, которая позволяет просматривать и изменять содержимое файлов BIOS ROM. Полезна она будет только опытным пользователям, которые прекрасно понимают назначение всех модулей BIOS и уже не впервые «перепрошивают» набор микропрограмм. «Перепрошивка» сама по себе может нанести вред ПК, а при использовании некорректных «ромов» — подавно. Поэтому настоятельно рекомендуем тщательно подумать перед внесением каких-либо изменений.
Итак, что же умеет MMTool? Во-первых, с ее помощью можно изменить внешний вид меню BIOS. Причем изменения могут быть не только графическими, но и структурными. Крайне полезно для тех, кого не устраивает текущее расположение часто используемых элементов управления и пунктов меню. Например, если вам приходится часто менять загрузочный носитель, можно перенести эту опцию на стартовый экран, чтобы не копаться в разделах и пунктах подменю. Неиспользуемые модули можно вообще удалить, дабы они не «захламляли» BIOS. Вернуть удаленные модули можно будет только при следующей «перепрошивке».
Во избежание проблем совместимости ROM с аппаратной составляющей компьютера рекомендуем использовать исключительно файлы с официального сайта производителя. Разделы с «ромами» имеются на сайтах практически всех крупных компаний, занимающихся производством материнских плат. Скачать их можно совершенно бесплатно. Бесплатной является и сама MMTool. К тому же она не требует установки — достаточно распаковать архив и запустить исполняемый файл.

MMTool is a program that allows you to view and modify the contents of ROM BIOS files. It will be useful only for experienced users who understand the purpose of all BIOS modules and not for the first time «re-firmware» a set of firmware. «Firmware» itself can cause damage to the PC, but if you use incorrect «rums» — it is not. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you think carefully before making any changes.
So, what does MMTool know? First, you can change the appearance of the BIOS menu. And changes can be not only graphical, but also structural. For example, if you have to change the bootable media frequently, you can move this option to the start screen to avoid having to dig through the sections and sub-menu items. Unused modules can be removed at all so that they do not «clutter» the BIOS. Deleted modules can be returned only at the next «flashing».
In order to avoid compatibility problems, we recommend using only files from the manufacturer’s website. Sections with «Roma» are available on the websites of almost all major motherboard companies. You can download them for free. MMTool itself is also free. In addition, it does not require installation — just unpack the archive and run the executable file.

You can install or upgrade VMware Tools on a macOS virtual machine using an installer assistant.
If you use VMware Fusion or ESXi on a computer with an Apple label, you can create Mac OS X Server (10.5 or later) virtual machines and install VMware Tools.
Prerequisites
- Power on the virtual machine.
- Verify that the guest operating system is running.
Procedure
- Select the menu command to mount and open the VMware Tools virtual disc on the guest operating system.
VMware Product Menu Command vSphere Client Right-click the virtual machine and select Guest OS > Install VMware Tools. or Guest OS > Upgrade VMware Tools. and select Interactive Tools Installation or Interactive Tools Upgrade Fusion Virtual Machine > Install (or Upgrade) VMware Tools - Open Install VMware Tools on the VMware Tools virtual disc, follow the prompts in the installer assistant, and click OK .
Results
The virtual machine restarts to have VMware Tools take effect.
