How to install Huawei Mobile Partner 23.015.11.01.983 on your computer/laptop?

Mobile Partner это графическая кроссплатформенная программа для установления соединения с помощью USB 3G модемов компании Huawei. При поставке устройства провайдером мобильной связи она может принимать другое именование, например при продажах Huawei 1750 USB 3G Modem компанией МЕГАФОН — Мегафон интернет. Поставка программы осуществляется на запоминающем устройстве расположенном на самом модеме. За счёт поддержки функции ZeroCD, после установки драйвера подключённый модем становиться виден операционной системе как устройство связи, а не накопитель. Разработчик Mobile Partner предоставляет варианты программы для разных операционных систем и в том числе для windows и linux.

Установка в windows

Установка программы Mobile Partner в windows особенностей не имеет. После подключения модема к USB-порту появляется устройство с которого осуществляется запуск программы установки.

Установка в linux

Программа Mobile Partner может быть установлена в linux. Описание установки приведено на примере debian squeeze i386 и Huawei E220 USB 3G Modem.

Для установки Mobile Partner в debian squeeze

• подключаем модем к USB-порту компьютера

• получаем права суперпользователя и подключаем флешку к файловой системе
• копируем содержимое дистрибутивного носителя в каталог на жёсткий диск
• изменяем CURRENT_PATH в скрипте установки install_linux

• запускаем установку в каталоге программы

Установка подключения в Mobile Partner

Mobile Partner облегчает процесс настройки модема и установки соединения с провайдером интернет. После запуска программы для подключения к провайдеру интернет достаточно нажать кнопку «Подключить». Mobile Partner обеспечивает восстановление соединения при потере связи.

Для запуска графической программы Mobile Partner на безмониторной рабочей станции, например шлюзе интернет, «как бы» в фоне может быть использован консольный оконный менеджер screen. Для этого:

• осуществляем вход на шлюз через ssh-канал: # ssh -X root@myhost
• запускаем консольный оконный менеджер screen: # screen
• запускаем программу Mobile Partner: # /usr/local/Mobile_Partner/MobilePartner.sh
• устанавливаем соединение с интернет в графическом режиме

Теперь закрытие пользователем терминальной сессии не приведёт к прекращению работы программы и отключению от интернет.
