What’s New

The major features of this release are:

1. More localizations!
— now Moroshka speaks Russian!
— now Moroshka speaks German!

2. Small but usefull improvements:
— quick filter (Cmd+G) now searchs by all parts of filename (for example, photo1000.jpg matches to ‘photo’, ‘1000’ and ‘jpg’ substrings)
— ability to run file preview/viewer from search results
— show full file path in search results tooltip
— run Terminal.app for the current folder (Cmd+Shift+T)
— ability to edit file using external text editor (can be changed in options)
— in-place rename (Shift+F6) can be activated by mouse (like Finder does)
— compare directories feature

File Manager should speed up the work, not the opposite

I deleted the application after first attempts to use it… I must say it was an experiment on my wife’s Mac Book (personally I have bought proffesional file manager on my computer). I was very unsatisfied with the result of this experiment. I just wanted to move some images from one huge folder to the another depending on the image content. It was never ending story. 1. The move operation requires confirmation and this “feature” cannot be turned off (it slows down the work only a bit, this is not the biggest problem). 2. There is not possible to move through images while the quick view is opened which means that while I am seeking the file that I want to move I am forced to close the quick view each time, then wait a little while (because the hidding of the quick view takes a short while) and only then move to next image to show it and decide if I want it to move or not. 3. There *is* possible to move file while the quick view is opened but the quick view itself *does not* update after the operation which means that I have to take the same actions that were described in the previous point. After short suffering I deleted the application giving up the work.
