Getting LuBuntu Linux 32-bit Setup in Oracle Virtual Box — Install Notes

I ran into a few troublesome issues recently when building a new rom kitchen environment based on Oracle Virtual Box and LuBuntu. I want to help other folks avoid the same headaches I have dealt with. So here we go.
First, you need to download the following:
NOTE: THE ATTACHED TOOLS ARE FOR x86/32-bit Linux distributions ONLY! — I spent an hour scratching my head on a ubuntu 64-bit install as to why I couldn’t run these tools. You have to be using a 32-bit flavor of linux.
A tool for unpacking the «logo.bin» file so you can edit the images that appear during boot time as well as graphics for other low level system stuff.
Kingo Root Tool

Attached is a zip package. Inside is an EXE file for Windows which will install Kingo Root software. I have successfully used this to root the Cube U27GT tablet which uses the MT8127 chipset and runs Android 4.4.

Краткое описание: Приложение winXP-win7 для получения рута, создания backup и многое др. на андроид от 2.2.1.
Возможности программы: Постоянно увеличиваются!
Создать скаттер файл для подключенного телефона или на основе уже имеющегося файла firmware.info
Сделать бэкапы блоков на компьютер и на SD карту телефона (если она доступна)
Удалить ненужные приложения.
Создать патченный бут и CWM на основе recovery от аналогичного телефона
На основе бэкапа подготовить файлы для update.zip для прошивки через CWM. Работает только для 6516 и 6573!
На основе бэкапа подготовить файлы для FlashTool.
Распаковать yaffs2 раздел в подпапку с именем исходного файла.
Утилита работает только с устройствами на базе МТК65** (кроме 6580). С процессорами МТК 67** и МТК6580 программа НЕ РАБОТАЕТ!
