А у меня проблемы с MultiWindow Commander v1.3.
Аппарат SGS5 Duos SM-G900FD (Прошивка G900FDXXU1BOF1 с ROOT Счетчик Knox 0).
Долго вычислял проблему.
Ставлю, все нормально, добавляю свои программы, все нормально, начинаю использовать 2 программы в паре, через день — два аппарат наглухо виснет. Спасает только вытаскивание батареи, и то начинается Бутлуп (бесконечная загрузка), пока не зайду в рекавери и не сделаю очистку кэша.
Тогда все приходит в норму, но сбиваются добавленные прогрмаммы в MultiWindow Commander, приходится заново добавлять.
Если начинаю использовать свои программы в мультиокнах, то через день-два ситуация повторяется.
Долго не догонял в чем дело.
Если использовать в мультиокнах только то что по умолчанию, проблем нет. Если использовать свои программы вместе но без мультиокон, то тоже проблем нет, юзал неделями.
Как толко надобавляю свой софт в MultiWindow Commander v1.3 и начинаю использовать, все, начался отсчет. Обычно на второй день капут.
Свой софт это :
Taxi Driver
Taxsee Driver
Navitel
Такси Максим Заказ
RuTaxi заказ
и.т.д.

Пробовал разные комбинации, при использовании любых программ добавленных в мультиокна через MultiWindow Commander, начинаются описанные проблемы со смартом.

Ранее пользовался MultiWindow Manager. Все работало как часы. Но с переходом на Андроид 5 пришлось отказаться, и искать альтернативы.
MultiWindow Manager без Xposed не работает. А Xposed без изврата не ставится.

Надеялся на MultiWindow Commander Но видимо сыроват.
Может есть еще какие варианты? Версий свежих пока нет?

How to enable multi-window in Android O and P

Android N introduced a hidden feature called multi-window. In Android N, this feature was easily enabled through the developer settings. Multi-window carried over to Android O and P, but Google hid it behind special permission access, thus making it more difficult to unlock.

Please note that this is only for Sentio Desktop and not for Andromium OS.

This guide will teach you how to grant special permission access and unlock multi-window on Android O and P.

This guide assumes that you are not a developer and do not already have the Android Device Bridge (ADB) installed. If you have ADB installed, open Terminal and skip to step 7.

On your laptop or desktop (not a mobile device), open Chrome and install the ADB for Chrome extension.

Ensure that your mobile device has Developer Options enabled. If you do not have it enabled, you will need to enable it by following these steps. Make sure to plug your phone into your computer after this has been enabled but not before.

1. Open “Android Settings” on your mobile device.
2. Scroll to find “About Phone” or “About Device”. Click it.
3. Scroll to find the “Build number”. Note that it might be under the system tab.
4. Click “Build number” 7 times until it tells you that “Developer options” are now available.
5. Developer Options should now appear in the first Settings screen.

How to Open Apps in Mul­ti­ple Win­dow on Any Android Smartphone

Google made a surprise release of Android N developer preview way before Google I/O. You might have checked out the features Android N preview offered. One of the most interesting features is to multitask with split-screen window. Two apps get divided into two windows and you can interact with both of them and also select and share data across these windows. Samsung brought it in with its Note series of smartphone. And, Google has finally delivered it in its stock Android OS.

So, I’ll show you today something similar to split-screen window feature. You can actually open multiple windows and multitask with your current Android phone. So, let’s see how you can do it.

Opening Apps in Multiple Windows

Android N lets you open two apps in split-view. Meaning in two unique windows. But, the app that I’m going to show you today can let you open apps in multiple views (Windows). The app is called Multitasking.

It basically gives you a sidebar where all the apps you can open are listed. And you can then open whichever app you want no matter on which screen you are on. As shown in the above image.

One thing to note here is that it doesn’t open the apps that are installed on your device. The apps you get are inbuilt apps of Multitasking. So, it won’t actually experience your installed apps in multiple windows.

Want to get the Split-Window feature of Android N on your Smartphone? In order to get it, your phone must be rooted with Xposed Framework installed. There’s a Xposed Module called XMultiWindow that can let you open apps in split-view.

You don’t need Root access for the app we are going to explore today. So let’s see how to use and configure it.

Exploring the App

After you install the app it might ask you to agree with you being OK with the app to display ads and ask you for completing surveys. You can deny it by clicking on the cancel on the top-right corner.

Multi-Window

To turn on this functionality tap the play button on the top-right corner of the app. You’ll get a notification that Multitasking has been turned on. Now, swipe from the left of the screen and a sidebar will slide out. Here, you have all the apps that you can access.

Now, open few apps and try them out. You can open as many apps you want.

Now, tap on the three dots in the title bar of the window. You’ll get different settings for that particular window and for that particular app too. You can minimize it and resize the window using the pinch gesture.

Some apps are only available in the Pro version.

Customization

You get good control over the app with its customization capabilities. Before you do anything else, turn off the unnecessary Caller ID feature. It just makes no sense using it. Also, it doesn’t work well.

Going into the app settings, you can choose to start with phone boot or not. You can set the work area limitation to screen size. Meaning the windows won’t disappear in the edge of the screen. Also, you can hide the notifications.

Then you get control over animations. Including the window and sidebar animation. You can set the width and height of the sidebar and also the default window size of the window.

Personally, I did like it. I can access some common tools like calculator, currency converter and TextPad from whatever screen I’m on. Yes, you can’t access installed apps from it. But, programmatically if you want installed apps in multiple windows then you need to have root access. Because the installed apps are tightly coupled with the OS.
