После синхронизации принтера Mustek 1248 UB с компьютером по USB кабелю печатающее устройство работать не будет. Для корректной работы необходимо установить на компьютер драйверы под конкретно эту модель. Загружаем с сайта драйвера и устанавливаем их. Первым делом заходим в папку «Загрузки» (у вас может быть иная директория) и открываем скачанный файл. В первом окне установщика необходимо выбрать основной язык. Т.к. русского здесь нет, то целесообразней выбрать английский. Выбираем English, после кликаем «Next».

Системный установщик начнет подготавливать нужные для установки файлы. В течении нескольких минут подождите, пока программа скопирует часть файлов, после чего установка драйвера начнется в автоматическом режиме.

Далее появится окно с текстом «Setup Status», которое означает, что началась установка драйвера принтера. Требуемые файлы будут скопированы и установлены в системную папку Windows. Обычно процесс установки длится пару минут.

Есть вы наблюдаете сообщение «InstallShield Wizard Complete», значит всё прошло успешно. Для правильной работы принтера перезагрузите компьютер. Отмечаем галочкой пункт «Yes» и кликаем «Finish».

Драйверы для сканеров Mustek 1200 UB / 1200 UB Plus / 1248 UB. К сожалению для сканеров 1200 UB и 1200 UB Plus есть драйверы только под Windows XP и ниже. Для Mustek 1200 UB Plus есть неофициальный драйвер, который якобы подходит для современных ОС Windows.

Для Windows Vista — 10 (32/64-bit) можно использовать VirtualBox или любую другую виртуальную машину. Необходимо поставить Windows XP на VirtualBox и использовать официальный драйвер.

Вариант №2 — использовать VueScan ( поддерживает сканеры ). Утилита платная, зато без виртуальных машин.

То есть на win10 сканер поставить не получится? Вариант №2 — использовать VueScan для win10? Я его поставил а он пишет что ищи мол сканер не обнаружен.

Да, мы перепроверили, к сожалению, сейчас утилита VueScan поддерживает только одну модель из этой статьи — 1248 UB. Для остальных остается использовать виртуальную машину.

In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.

Select the Driver tab.

Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.
