Windows 10 ENB problem
I’ve tried a lot of fixes out there for ENB 0.248 on GTA San Andreas, and I know that Windows 10 have a problem with running this. I have Windows 10 version 1703 and that’s the problem. Is here any way how to remove Creators Update ( source of problems with ENB ) ? I didn’t upgraded to this version, I got Windows with it.

Since your getting issue and you want to get back to your old Windows 10 Update, we suggest you to check this article: Recovery options in Windows 10. Look for the article, go back to your previous version of Windows. It contains troubleshooting steps pertaining to your query.

Is ENB just not looking good, or is it crashing the game ? If so, is the game crashing if you remove ENB ?
Whatever the case, I reckon the problem may be to do with the version of EMB you are using.
I don’t have an ENB for GTA-SA (but the game runs fine on Win10 w/o an ENB ), but the ENB’s I am using with other
games (four or five, I think ? ) aren’t having any problem with Win10.
btw — It does not tell us anything when people say ‘I have tried a lot of fixes’.
What brand and model graphics processor does your machine use ?

Interesting that the older ENB works on Win10, and the new one fails, but regardless, it looks like you may just have to stick to the older version,
or maybe wait until the next ENB update.
I would think if the problematic ENB has a corrupt file that the files would not have extracted when unpacking the .zip folder, but have you tried
downloading the newer ENB again ?
— I am also running Win10 1703, and I very much doubt the issues is due to inherent faults in 1703 . A lot of people have had Windows corrupted
in various ways when doing this, and previous bi-annual version updates, but I’m not sure that would affect mods within games.
Particularly a particular version of a mod, as in your case.
( Audio seems to get stuffed up fairly regularly with the version updates, and people who pushed WIn10 on to older laptops seem to
suffer the most overall, and most problems with 1703 seem to be with older systems that never had dedicated Win10 motherboard
or integrated gpu drivers from the mfg of the device) .
— I don’t really have much to offer. You would probably do better trawling/re-trawling the mod sites that has this version of ENB.
I do get a message when launching FO4 that a new ENB is available, but I just use a pre-set, so I’m happy with the ENB version I’m using.
If it ain’t broke. I also have ENB on Skyrim, which was installed when running Win7, and it’s still running properly.
(Thought I had a couple more ENB in use, but it ends up I never used the ones I have for GTA4, and FC4. I think it was because I didn’t much
like the pre-sets I tried rather than them crashing the games ? With FC3 it looks like I’m using SweetFX w/o ENB ).
— btw, If the Registry fixes you tried did not work you probably should change them back, if you have not already.
