We are pleased to announce the release of OBD Auto Doctor for Mac OS X. Mac support has been requested by many of you and therefore we are especially happy about this release. It delights us to fulfill your wishes!
OBD Auto Doctor on Mac OS X
OBD Auto Doctor is the only true multi platform OBD diagnostic software available in the market. It’s available for basically for every operating system there is; Windows, Mac and Linux. Users who have purchased a desktop license earlier are able to use the same license key with the Mac version. This is true advantage for many of our customers who have PCs and Macs in their households.
The Mac version supports all the same adapters that our Windows and Linux versions also support. These include wireless Bluetooth and WiFi adapters, USB and serial cable adapters.
OBD Auto Doctor is now available for download from our own site. The software requires at least OS X 10.7 (Lion) to operate correctly. It has been tested to work on the new 10.9 Mavericks too.

ELM327 и Mac OS
Адаптер ELM327 USB и Mac OS.
Первым делом для работы адаптера на операционной системе Mac OS необходимо установить драйвер.
Скачайте один из драйверов для Mac OS: драйвер для адаптера на чипе FTDI, драйвер для адаптера на чипе SiliconLabs, драйвер для адаптера на чипе Prolific. Если Вы не знаете, на каком чипе ваш адаптер, устанавливайте каждый по очереди, пока программное обеспечение не обнаружит адаптер.

Установите и приступайте к диагностике 🙂
Адаптер ELM327 Bluetooth и Mac OS.
1) Подключите адаптер к диагностическому разъему автомобиля.
2) Заведите автомобиль.
3) Создайте сопряжение компьютера и адаптера.
В верхнем правом углу панели найдите значок Bluetooth и выберите «Открыть настройки Bluetooth. «
В случае, если значок Bluetooth отсутствует, нужно включить его в настройках Системные настройки — Bluetooth — установите флажок «Показывать статус Bluetooth в строке меню».
4) Настройки Bluetooth.
Помощник настройки bluetooth выполнит поиск автоматически. Название адаптера будет «OBD2». В некоторых случаях название может быть другое.
Если устройство не появляется, убедитесь, что у автомобиля включено зажигание и ваш адаптер надежно подключен.
5) Настройки пароля.
Если в случае соединения выдаст ошибку «Попытка сопряжения была неудачной», нужно выставить код доступа к устройству. Для этого нажмите кнопку «Код доступа» в нижнем углу. Выберите «Использовать определенный код доступа» и введите 1111, 0000, 1234 или 6789. Нажмите ОК.
Теперь вы готовы к подключению к автомобилю!
К сожалению, в данный момент есть только одна программа для Mac OS — Movi Pro. Установить ее можно с App Store.

inCarDoc OBD2 | ELM327 Scanner works as fault code scanner: read Check Engine (MIL) state, details, related freeze frame data, find descriptions, and clean stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTC). Store and share diagnostics data when looking for a professional service/repair assistance. Please note that the app supports only parameters and ECU’s specified with OBD2 standard, which is Engine and Emission systems.
Reads real-time engine and vehicle OBD2 parameters from car’s sensors: speed, rotation (rpm), coolant temperature, pressure, lambda, and multiple other sensors data supported by your car. Note. Avoid simultaneous running of multiple OBD reading applications, be sure that other applications are not keeping live OBD connection.
Configure inCarDoc OBD2 application:
1. Connect the OBD-II Wi-Fi cable to the OBD-II connector of your car (usually it is under the steering wheel). Start the car engine and wait for the green light on the Wi-Fi device.
2. On your iPhone device, go to Settings, select connect to a Wi-Fi network.
After connecting to Wi-Fi, go to advanced settings:
Set
IP Address: Static.
IP Address: 192.168.0.11
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Choose a device name for Wi-Fi
Exit settings.
3. Go to the inCarDoc application> Settings, where configure the following:
IP Address: 192.168.0.10
Port: 35000
Click “Save”
4. Start the engine. View vehicle parameters.
