OBS Studio 27.0

Undo/Redo Support

OBS Studio 27 brings one of our most-requested features: undo/redo support! Fixing your mistakes is now as easy as hitting Ctrl+Z (Cmd +Z on macOS). You can also redo an action with either Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+Shift+Z

Browser Docks on macOS and Linux

After a ton of work we’ve added support for browser panels at last! Not only does this mean you can add custom browser docks, but you can also directly log in to your Twitch and Restream accounts with the “Connect Account” button.

Source Visibility Transitions

When you toggle a source’s visibility, you can now make it transition in and out using any type of transition that OBS supports, including stingers!

Track Matte Stingers

Stinger transitions have now been updated with a new setting called a track matte. Track matte stingers allow you to create transitions that show both the first scene and the second scene at the same time during the transition. Standard stinger transitions typically require a frame that covers the whole screen in order to mask the cut between Scene A and Scene B. With track mattes, you can seamlessly show both scenes simultaneously during the transition.

Missing Files Dialog

It is now much easier to catch which sources are missing files, similar to other video production apps. Simply launch OBS or switch scene collections to be notified.

All built-in sources are supported, including the Browser and VLC Video. Using the dialog, users have the option of manually choosing a new folder/file, or clearing the source’s selected path. If all files are in the same folder, they’ll automatically be detected when a file is chosen.

Noise Removal, powered by NVIDIA Broadcast on Windows

The Noise Suppression audio filter now supports NVIDIA Noise Removal. OBS Studio comes bundled with two existing noise removal methods known as Speex and RNNoise. This update lets users with supported NVIDIA GPUs and the NVIDIA Broadcast Audio Effects SDK installed use the noise removal technology of NVIDIA Broadcast as a Noise Suppression filter.

Improved Display Capture for Laptops

Display Capture on laptops now allows for capturing displays on different GPUs. This requires no user configuration, making it easier than ever for users to get started creating amazing content. When laptop capture mode is enabled, a yellow border will be displayed around the selected display (but not in the output), indicating that it’s using Windows Graphics Capture. This border is handled by Windows itself and cannot currently be turned off — but a future Windows 10 update will provide the option to hide it.

Wayland on Linux

This release makes it possible to run OBS as a native Wayland application, and capture windows and monitors on Wayland environments. Capturing uses PipeWire and XDG Portals to operate, which enable secure, performant, stable captures. These are emergent technologies that may not be available on certain Linux distributions.

OBS Studio download

On this page, you can download OBS Studio (also known as Open Broadcaster Software Studio).
It’s free open-source and multiplatform software for video recording and live streaming.

With OBS Studio, you can stream on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Huya, Douyu, VK, and any other RTMP server.

There are Windows, mac OS X, and Linux versions are available. You can also build OBS Studio from source code.

Any installation directions marked Unofficial are not maintained by the OBS Studio author and may not be up to date or stable.

NOTE: OpenGL 3.2 or later is required to use OBS Studio on Linux. You can check what version of OpenGL is supported by your system by typing the following into the terminal:

Requirements

1. FFmpeg is required. If you do not have the FFmpeg installed (if you’re not sure, then you probably don’t have it), you can get it with the following commands:

For Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, FFmpeg is not officially included so you will need a specific PPA:

For Ubuntu 15.04 and following versions, FFmpeg is officially included, so you don’t need add PPA and you can install it with this command:

xserver-xorg version 1.18.4 or newer is recommended to avoid potential performance issues with certain features in OBS, such as the fullscreen projector.

Installation

You can install OBS Studio on Ubuntu Linux with the following commands:

• Graphical: search “obs-studio” on Pamac Manager or Octopi
• Command-line: install it via pacman with the following command:

Fedora Installation (Unofficial)

• OBS Studio is included in RPM Fusion. If you do not have it configured (if you’re not sure, then you probably don’t have it), you can do so with the following command:
• Then you can install OBS with the following command (this pulls all dependencies, including NVENC-enabled ffmpeg):
• For NVIDIA Hardware accelerated encoding make sure you have CUDA installed (in case of an older card, install xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-340xx-cuda instead):
• The Packman repository contains the obs-studio package since it requires the fuller version of FFmpeg which is in Packman for legal reasons. If you do not already have the Packman repository add it as shown below.

It is recommended to set the priority for Packman lower so it takes precedence over base repositories (skip on Tumbleweed as included in initial command).

To ensure any existing FFmpeg packages are switched to Packman versions execute the following before installing obs-studio.

OBS Studio

OBS Studio — бесплатная программа для потокового видео-вещания, ведения стримов и записи видео с экрана и внешних устройств. OBS Studio используется для создания скринкастов, проведения онлайн семинаров, лекций, конференций и других мероприятий, требующих потокового вещания видео.

OBS Studio (Open Broadcaster Software) позволяет создавать стримы и записывать видео с различных источников. Программа поддерживает создание сцен, которые могут включать различные источники видео и аудио, а также иметь различные настройки записи видео. Во время трансляции можно переключаться между сценами.

Для стриминга программа использует распространенный протокол RTMP.

Интерфейс

Программа имеет довольно простой и понятный интерфейс. Разобраться в нем не составит труда.

Основную область занимает рабочая область, в которой вы распределяете источники видео, которые будут составлять вашу сцену. Каждый источник видео представлен отдельным слоем. Каждый слой можно перемещать или изменять размеры слоя.

Остальные управляющие элементы интерфейса размещены в отдельных областях. Каждую область можно вынести в отдельное окно. Это окна для создания сцен и источников видео, микшер, настройки переходов между сценами, управляющие кнопки.

Интерфейс OBS Studio полностью переведен на русский язык.

Установка

Установка OBS Studio в Ubuntu Linux

Для установки OBS Studio в Ubuntu Linux можно использовать PPA-репозиторий. Сначала установим зависимости:
sudo apt install ffmpeg

Затем выполним установку программы:

У меня в Ubuntu Linux установка завершалась с ошибкой:

Помогло следующее решение. Необходимо удалить компонент libobs0, а затем выполнить команду установки снова:
