We are a family run business that makes beautiful made-to-measure doors.

We’ll work with you to design and make a bespoke door, whether you’re renovating a Victorian home or you need something modern for a new building. Our doors are both stylish and secure. They’re made from the highest grades of timber and we use “Diamond Standard” cylinder locks.

What type of doors do you make?

We offer a fully bespoke service and manufacture a range of doors to order: from entrance doors in traditional and contemporary designs, to french doors, bi-fold doors, stable doors and internal doors. Browse through the “bespoke” section of our site for more examples of our work.

Do you supply the whole of the UK?

Yes! While our doors are designed and manufactured in our Nottingham-based workshop, we are happy to deliver nationwide.

How much will a door cost?

Our internal doors start at £300.00 and external doors start at £800.00.

How do I order/get a quote?

You can either email us using this form, or call us on 01159 588 755. We’ll be able to discuss your project in detail and supply you with a written quotation.

How to survey your door:

All our door sets are purpose made to fit your opening size. We are able to receive Imperial and Metric measurements.

1. Exterior width. Check the top, middle and bottom of the outside brickwork. record the smallest measurement.
2. Exterior height. From the bottom to the top of the outside brickwork check the left, middle and right then record the smallest measurement.
3. Interior width. Architraves may need to be removed. Repeat the process and record the smallest measurement.
4. Interior height. repeat the process and record the smallest measurement.
5. Overall frame width. From exterior face to interior face .

How to pay:

To proceed with your order a deposit of 50% will be required.

Once your order has been confirmed we will produce and send to you a scaled drawing within 10 days, this will show all specified details on the door set ordered.

Are your doors supplied painted?

Yes, we offer factory sprayed paint finish in any RAL, BS, Dulux or Farrow and Ball colours. We also offer an exterior clear lacquer which can include 6 different shades of stain.

What guarantee do you offer?

Old English Doors give a five-year guarantee. Please see our terms and conditions for further information.
