Orange Pi 3G-IoT-A/B — одноплатные ПК с 2G, 3G, WIFI, BT и eMMC
Orange Pi 3G-IoT — это одноплатный компьютер сделан на базе SoC Mediatek MT6572 — бюджетный ARM-чип, предназначенный для планшетов и смартфонов под управлением Android. Он состоит из двух процессорных ядер ARM Cortex A7 и видеоадаптера ARM Mali-400. Рабочая частота процессорных ядер составляет 1.2 ГГц, а ядра видеоадаптера — 500 МГц. В чип также встроен контроллер памяти LPDDR2, радиомодуль 2G/3G (HSPA+), 720p-видеодекодер и модули Wi-Fi, Bluetooth и GPS.
Плата вышла в двух версиях Orange Pi 3G-IoT-A и Orange Pi 3G-IoT-B, единственное отличие между ними — это чип памяти (ОЗУ и ПЗУ). Модель A имеет 256 МБ оперативной памяти и eMMC на 512 МБ, а модель B — 512 МБ и 4 ГБ соответственно.
Сфера применения плат — устройства Интернета вещей. Orange Pi 3G-IoT оснастили слотом microSD, разъемами LCD и камеры, портами USB 2.0 и Micro-USB, поддержкой сетей Wi-Fi и Bluetooth, GPS и FM-радио, а также интерфейсов GPIO, SPI, I2C, UART. Также есть микрофон и гнездо для наушников.
Питание Orange Pi 3G-IoT-A/B осуществляется от 5-вольтового адаптера через разъём micro-USB или пины питания, рекомендуется использовать источник питания с силой тока 2 А. Также можно подключить Литий-ионный аккумулятор. Orange Pi 3G-IoT-A/B работает на старой прошивке Android 4.4.

Orange Pi 3G-IoT Board Finally Gets a Linux Image
Shenzhen Xunlong has launched several cellular IoT boards over the last few years with Orange Pi 2G-IoT, Orange Pi 3G-IoT and Orange Pi 4G-IoT, but each time, they are launched with Android support only. Linux support on the 2G board has never been great, while the Android 8.1 SDK for Orange Pi 4G-IoT was released earlier this year, but no Linux image are available.
This leaves us with Orange Pi 3G-IoT board that just got its first Linux based firmware images released today on both Baidu and Google Drive cloud storage storage services.
Four images are available for Orange Pi 3G-IoT-A (256MB DDR2) and Orange Pi 3G-IoT-B (512MB DDR2) boards with images booting from eMMC flash or micro SD card. A shell script (tar_image.sh) is provided to flash the image to the micro SD card since the latter for follow a specific partition layout.
Sadly, there’s no mention of the distribution used, or whether the company used buildroot or the Yocto Project to create the images.

Распиновка есть, но там нет rxo и txo, а uart рабочий только на них.

Под Андроидом скорей всего да (надо попробовать), под линуксом — это вопрос, который хочу тоже решить.

образ есть на сайте производителя, лежит на гугле, 4G_ubuntu_emmc.tar.gz
там же есть инструкция по прошивке этого образа с помощью SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1644.00.000
шить как любой MTK девайс с помощью скаттер файла
для того, чтоб согласовать уровни. обычный переходиник usb-uart на 5в или 3.3в спалит порт уарта 1.8в
на фото все есть, и что и как подключать, внимательней изучайте фото
пока китайцы не соберут ядро с поддержкой модема — под убунтой будет доступен только камень да память.
