Есть в системе OSX одна особенная опция — пересылки файлов через AirDrop. Об этой опции не принято говорить. Она просто есть. И ты пользуешься ею, когда возникает потребность. И в том случае, если рядом оказывается такой же Мак с такой же операционной системой. Уже немало, да? Но на самом деле это именно то, что нужно.

Дело в том, что один компьютер, даже такой, как Макбук Про, приобретается в частное пользование довольно редко. Обычно берут две машины. Скажем, Макбук Про и Макбук Эйр. Про для себя, Эйр — для супруги. Или Про для себя, Эйр — для сына. И получается, что две машины работают в одинаковых системах. А способов общения между ними меньше, чем может показаться.

Действительно, чем можно объединить две машины, если нужна сеть? И если по этой сети нужно передать один, два, три, четыре файла? Ничем: Это один ответ. И специальной утилитой — ответ владельцам Мака. Как это делается, рассмотрим подробней.

На столе стоит машина. Допустим, Макбук Про. 15-дюймовый экран. Винт на 500 гигабайт. Памяти, допустим, 4 гигабайта. Короче, крутая машина, но без особых претензий.

На этой машине установлена операционная система Maveriks. Или Yosemite — если вы успели установить новую систему. Неважно, какая именно стоит операционная система. Технология AirDrop обустроена на компьютерах достаточно давно.

На столе стоит машина. И на машине созрел файл — рабочий. Скажем, текстовый файл. Или графический. Или видео. Короче, один из стандартных файлов, которые считаются у нас рабочими. И нам этот файл нужно переслать на соседнюю машину — на такой же Макбук Про или Эйр. Или на какую-нибудь другую машину с подходящей версией программного обеспечения.

В файндере есть специальная папка для этой программы. Она называется AirDrop и находится в верхней части списка всех папок — повыше папки «Загрузки».

Открываем эту папку. Что здесь? Круглая картинка с моим портретом и надписью — «MacBook Pro». И далее моя фамилия.

Это мои координаты. Они обозначены расходящимися линиями — как обычно рисуют радиосистему. Или систему магнитных линий: Но где же вторая картинка?

Ах, вот она. При соседнем расположении второго компьютера и при активировании AirDrop в окне появляется вторая картинка — со схожими портретом и надписью. Если компьютеров больше, то и картинок появляется больше. И у каждой есть портрет — если в вашей системе прописан именно портрет. Либо картинка — если вы обозначены какой-либо картинкой.

Берем файл — мышкой, не отпуская кнопки. И тащим из соседнего окна, скажем, из папки «Загрузки», в папку AirDrop. Укладываем файл на картинку с чужим портретом. И посылаем его на другой компьютер. При этом возникает надпись — «Отправить». А на втором компьютере возникает вопрос на принятие файла. Мы нажимаем на «Отправить», там нажимают на «Принять». И всё. Система p2p заработала. Файл отправиться по воздуху с одного компьютера на другой. После завершения пересылки завершится и её графическое оформление. Файл полностью переместиться на соседний компьютер.

Нет, он не переместиться, он скопируется. Так будет правильней. Все же перемещение и копирование — разные операции. И речь здесь идёт именно о копировании, но никак не перемещении.

А что после этого? А после этого мы продолжаем работать, как работали раньше. Второй компьютер при этом может делать с нашим файлом всё, что только заблагорассудится. Он может даже уничтожить его — с нашим файлом ничего не случится. Он по-прежнему останется на нашем компьютере именно в том состоянии, в каком был.

Эта опция, AirDrop, была придумана программистами в качестве облегчения соединения двух или трёх (четырёх, пяти — сколько угодно) компьютеров с однородной операционной системой. И оказалось, что эта помощь пришла вовремя. Компьютеров в семьях становится больше. И возможностей общения между ними — тоже больше. Теперь есть и возможность совместной работы с одним файлом. А так же обработка этого файла в нужной программе, сохранение его в собственной системе бэкапа и много-много чего ещё. Возможно всё, что кажется необходимым. Главное — не бояться. И работать так, как ты задумал.

Что такое связь p2p? Практичеки то же самое, что и торренты. Только связь эта работает на коротких расстояниях — через Wi-Fi. Настройка этой связи нас не беспокоит. Есть рядом схожий компьютер — есть и связь. Нет, значит, нет.

В этой простоте заключается гениальная идея. С любыми файлами нужно, прежде всего, работать. Обрабатывать их, делиться впечатлениями, архивировать. Делать всё, что мы посчитаем нужным. Нет, значит, нет. Но подобная возможность у нас остаётся в любом случае. Как говориться, «пусть весь мир подождёт».

Схожих опций у других компьютеров я пока не знаю. Я поэтому и говорю — пока. Возможно, они уже появились. Уже есть в системе Windows 8 или 9 такая система. Или в Ubuntu. Но я пока не видел ничего подобного. Ни разу. А на Маке за последний год через систему AirDrop переслано на другую машину тысячи файлов. Для их прочтения, для пересылки в другие места. С самыми различными целями. Главное же не эти файлы. Главное — сама возможность. Без подключения каких-то носителей, без перезаписи, без лишней мороки с совместимостью. Всё очень просто — взял файл и послал его на соседний компьютер. А там его получил. И делай с ним всё, что захочешь. Гениально!

В этой гениальности находится залог будущего системы OSX. Да, эта операционная система закрыта от любого проникновения. Но она закрыта и от несанкционированной модернизации. В то же время всё, чем славится эта система, работает. И работает так, как положено — без малейших отказов.

С другой стороны, эта система и не предназначена для её применения помимо обмена файлами. Даже во время общения с другим компьютером она меняет своё название — на p2p1 или p2p2. То есть она хоть и является близкой по технологии с файлами торрент, но всё же к торрентам не принадлежит. Это особая система, предназначенная для обмена между компьютерами. И больше ни для чего.

В операционной системе OSX 10.9 технология AirDrop встала, как родная. Она не всегда используется самими владельцами компьютеров. Всё же Мак у нас считается дорогой машиной. Но она есть. И у владельца Мака всегда есть возможность быстро передать нужный файл для обработки или показа результатов работы на другой компьютер. И получить в случае чего этот файл обратно. По-моему, замечательная история:

А что в OSX 10.10? Об этой системе слышно что угодно, только не об AirDrop. А действительно, стоит ли говорить, если он работает? Работает и будет работать. Вот что важно. А там — куда технологии ни шагнут, всё будет отлично.
