2. Перезагрузите свой Mac в Безопасном режиме, который служит для упрощения устранения неполадок в macOS. В Безопасном режиме не macOS отключает автозагрузку приложений, а также осуществляет проверку загрузочного диска. Загрузка в Безопасном режиме проводится немного дольше обычной.

Загрузившись в Безопасном режиме перейдите, откройте приложение App Store и установите все имеющиеся обновления.
3. Попробуйте удалить все дополнительное программное обеспечение, разработанное сторонними производителями, а также плагины. Обратите внимание на последние установленные обновления. Вполне вероятно, что это и стало причиной несовместимости модулей или плагинов, до того работавших нормально.
4. Отключите все подключенные к компьютеру через порты USB и FireWire устройства, оставить можно лишь клавиатуру и мышь. Попробуйте удалить программные обновления для оборудования сторонних производителей – это могут быть, к примеру, карты PCI. Перегрузите компьютер. Если устранить проблему удалось, попробуйте поочередно подключать обратно отключенные устройства и снова перегружать компьютер. Так вы сможете выявить, какое именно устройство является источником проблемы.
5. Осуществите сброс настроек параметрической оперативной памяти (PRAM). Для этого: Выключите компьютер. Включите Mac и сразу же нажмите и удерживайте клавиши ⌘Cmd + ⌥Option (Alt) + P + R. Продолжайте удерживать их до последующей перезагрузки компьютера. Как Mac снова загрузится и вы увидите логотип Apple на экране, отпустите кнопки.
6. Запустите инструмент диагностики неполадок на компьютере Mac (подробно). С помощью приложения вы сможете узнать информацию об установленном оборудовании (например, о дополнительном модуле памяти), которое несовместимо, неправильно установлено или неисправно.

When i powered my MacBook Pro i received an error msg:
panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff8026a59241): «Unable to find driver for this platform: \»ACPI».\n»@SourceChache/xnu/xnu-2050.20.9/lokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExport.cpp:15 48
it lists bunch of hex numbers and Kernel Version: 12.2.1 etc.
How do i fix this so that i can use my macbook pro.

Can you boot at all? If not, can you boot into «Safe» mode?
If you can get booted via «Safe» mode, can you post the full panic report?
Kernel Panic reports: Finder -> Go -> Go to Folder -> /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
The panic report should have «panic» in the file name.
If you cannot boot normal, and cannot boot into «Safe» mode, can you boot the «Recovery» partition?
Boot holding Command-R, then run Disk Utility -> Repair

Thanks for your quick response. I tried rebooting in safe mode but still received the same panic error. So I rebooted the machine in Recovery partition and ran Disk Utility — Repair on Macintosh HD partition that’s where i have most of my files. It finished repairing successfully. I also tried the same on Disk 1 which is the Mac OS X Base System. But i could only verify disk as repair disk was grayed out. Should I reboot the system again?

You might want to re-install Mountain Lion over top of the existing install.
While the recovery partition is a striped down OS X, it is still running the operating system, just fewer drivers. That tends to imply that your hardware might be OK, and makes me think maybe the operating system has become corrupt.
Re-installing over top of the existing operating system will re-write new good files over any that maybe corrupt.
Of course the operating system modules should not become corrupt, but it does happen. A failing disk could cause this. Or marginal RAM. Both of which may not be bothering the recovery mode, so hardware failing is still a possibility.
You may want to make a Genius Bar appointment at an Apple store and have them perform a free evaluation (repairs you authorize would cost)

So the unofficial solution is: In system preferences -> energy saver -> power adapter -> turn display off after = NEVER.

Just install the 10.15.5 update, the issue should disappear with it.

I just had the issue on a 2020 Macbook Pro 13inch with 10.15.5 installed, so the latest OS version does definitely NOT solve the issue (completely?).

I live in Japan and bought my 16MBP here. I have the same problem (panic(cpu 0 caller 0xffffff7f885333c5): «DSB0(MacBookPro16,1): thunderbolt power on failed 0xffffffff\n»@/AppleInternal/BuildRoot/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/IOPCIFamily/IOPCIFamily-370.141.1/IOPCIBridge.cpp:1398) as others. Before this problem set in, though, I had lost the ability to charge with the two USB-C ports on the right side. I still cannot charge from them and, yes, I have done the various resets which some people find fixes the problem. With these two ports unavailable, I most certainly have a hardware problem on an expensive computer which is 9 months old. I find that the 16MBP crashes when I close the shell. The timing of the crash is usually 30 secs though it has also taken as along as 50 sec. I am documenting now all the crashes. I get the same report as pasted above all the time. I did a complete reinstall of the OS (10.15.6) ad the problem remains. I have Apple Care and will demand a new machine. I am concerned, however, that the new device may have the same problem. This had been the very best computer I’d ever owned.

However, trying to install 10.15.6 Supplemental Update which notes this fix:
Fixes a stability issue that could occur when running virtualization apps
Will update afterwards.

I have had this issue for a few weeks, I have also updated to 10.5.16 but the problem persist. I will try the tip on changing the power settings.

I never experienced this issue until the last 2 weeks on 10.15.6. really annoying. I’m tempted to install Big Sur beta just to see if its gone there, because I doubt that Apple will fix this issue if it hasn’t done so already.

I have done everything I could for this issue. Downgraded to High Sierra. Problem persists. Upgraded to Mojave. Problem Persists. Upgraded to Catalina. Problem Persists. Upgraded to latest Big Sur Beta (Ver 11.0). Problem Persists. The only way I have truly found around it was to install a 3rd party program called «InsomniaX» which does not let the computer sleep when the lid is closed. I recently took the laptop to the Genius Bar, and they ran some tests, but their only solution for my 2015 MacBook Pro was to pay $479 and have the logic board replaced. At this point, that’s about how much the laptop is worth. If there’s anything I’ve found out about Apple laptops, is you are at the mercy of the hardware, and AppleCare is a wise investment if you’re spending a lot of money on a laptop if they are all prone to this same issue that won’t be fixed by software. ever!
I happen to own three other Macs, one MacBook Air 2013 (running Catalina, has same problem, but not very often). A MacBook Pro 15″ 2015 (running Catalina, never had an issue), and a 2017 MacBook Pro 15″ (running Catalina, never had an issue, but has a the random «popping» sound).
Note to self (and all of you): Just because it’s an Apple device does NOT make it invincible to problems that other laptops and electronic devices all can get. If you buy used, be very careful. Look for continued Apple Care coverage in all future used OR NEW purchases.
It’s a true shame that at least a 3rd party program can be a band-aid for 1st party hardware.

Unfortunately, your guidance on solving the problem does not work. I have the same issue with my Macbook Pro (late 2013) where it takes three minutes to shutdown ending with messages of improper shutdown in multiple languages and automatically restarts showing the login screen. After login, it throws the error above in the kernel report.
I have searched the internet and it seems to be a common problem on the MacBook Pro with Catalina. At least in my case, it started after upgrading to Catalina.
My best guess is that it might be hardware related to the Macbook Pro.

Since a few days, my MacBook started to run a bit slower, and applications crashed more often.
Today, my iTunes crashed, so I decided to restart my MacBook.
I shut it down, but when I tried to restart it, I got this error message in the top left corner of my screen.

Then a message popped up, telling me to restart my MacBook.
I have tried restarting it a number of times, but all to no avail. I have tried resetting PRAM using Cmnd+alt+P+R, starting up in safe mode by holding Shift, but neither of it worked. I also tried Repairing my harddisk by using Disk Utility from the OS X Snow Leopard startup CD. That didn’t work either, it said the harddisk couldn’t be repaired.
So I searched on the Internet, and it seems the only solution is to erase the harddisk, and install Snow Leopard again, and then restoring all my data using Time Machine.
There is just one problem:
I have no Time Machine backup!!
Is there any other way to make my MacBook work again? I have valuable data on my harddrive I cannot afford losing.

If you have access to another Mac, you can try starting your Mac in FireWire Target Disk Mode and copying files to the other Mac.
You can also try a stronger utility such as Disk Warrior, TechTool Pro, Drive Genius to see if one of them can fix your HD directory (all are much stronger than disk utility, but if your HD is physically dying, nothing can repair it). You could also try an app such as Data Rescue and see if it can recover any of your data.
Not to rub it in, but I hope after you get this sorted out, you’ll backup frequently.

unfortunately, I dont have access to another Mac, so that option is a no-go.
And I would love to use any of those apps you mentioned, but how can I use them when I cannot startup my own Mac?
Its really weird that this is happening, my Mac is only 2 years old, so I think this is a bit early for it to die.
And youre not rubbing it in at all, youre just telling me the truth.

Each of these apps has the ability to boot a Mac. That said, there’s no guarantee it will work, so it depends on how important your data is and if you can find another way to resolve the issue.
Is there an Apple Store convenient to you? If so, you could make a free «genius» bar appointment and they will have at least one of the apps I mentioned. They will spend only limited time with you, but it’s possible they could be of help.

I believe there is a genius bar a couple of miles from where I live, so I think I am going to give it a try. I have made an appointment for tomorrow night. Are you sure they will have one of the apps? Otherwise I would be wasting a lot of time.

I can’t promise anything, but every Apple Store I’ve ever heard of has «tools» like this and beyond. Macsales, who sells Drive Genius, states that this is what Apple Stores use.

First, you have to back up all data before you do anything else. See below.
After you’ve backed up, boot from your installation disc. You might be able to fix the problem by launching Disk Utility from the Utilities menu and repairing the permissions of the startup volume. This is one of the few situations in which permission repair may be useful.
If that doesn’t work, you’ll have to reinstall the Mac OS. After reinstalling, run Software Update until all available updates have been applied.
There are several ways to back up a Mac that is unable to fully boot. You need an external hard drive to hold the backup data.
1. Boot from your recovery partition (10.7 or later), a local Time Machine backup volume (10.7.2 or later), or your installation disc (10.6.8 or earlier.) Launch Disk Utility and follow the instructions in the support article linked below, under “Instructions for backing up to an external hard disk via Disk Utility.”
2. If you have access to a working Mac, and both it and the non-working Mac have FireWire or Thunderbolt ports, boot the non-working Mac in target disk mode by holding down the key combination command-T at the startup chime. Connect the two Macs with a FireWire or Thunderbolt cable. The internal drive of the machine running in target mode will mount as an external drive on the other machine. Copy the data to another drive. This technique won’t work with USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
3. If the internal drive of the non-working Mac is user-replaceable, remove it and mount it in an external enclosure or drive dock. Use another Mac to copy the data.
