С помощью нового приложения можно не только получать доступ к файлам и папкам в облаке, но делиться ссылкам на них с коллегами, просматривать документы Word, Excel, PDF, а также изображения и файлы других форматов без предварительного скачивания, создавать документы Microsoft Office прямо в Box, присваивать файлам комментарии и организовывать коллективную работу над документами.

Отдельно разработчики упоминают возможность закрепления ссылок на часто используемые файлы в меню «Пуск», возможность удобного использования в планшетном режиме с поддержкой динамического изменения размеров окна, интеграцию с центром уведомлений, в котором будут отображаться сообщения об изменениях в файлах Office.

Наверное стоит напомнить, что Box — это в первую очередь корпоративный облачный сервис, которым пользуется около 50 000 компаний и организаций, среди которых значится половина списка самых успешных компаний Fortune 500.
