Avid анонсировала новую версию своей самой популярной в профессиональной сфере цифровой студии звукозаписи Pro Tools под номером 9,

отличающуюся от прошлых огромным шагом вперед — версия 9 больше не требует никакого железа за многие сотни долларов для комфортабельной работы,

так же Pro Tools теперь может использовать любое железо поддерживающее Core Audio на Mac, или ASIO на PC.

Следующим большим отличием является то, что Pro Tools не имеет больше делений на несколько версий, как было раньше (LE/M-Powered/HD),

а поставляется одной единственной программой, способной работать как и на Mac, так и на PC.

Владельцы железа из комплектов Pro Tools HD получают возможность работать с еще большим количеством дорожек одновременно,

для сравнения — Pro Tools 9 с любым интерфейсом из списка поддерживаемых может одновременно работать с 96 дорожками (как моно, так и стерео),

Pro Tools 9 HD — 192, так же HD версия дает возможность выполнения микса вплоть до 7.1, остальные отличия можно узнать в таблице сравнения версий на сайте Avid.

Отдельным пунктом стоит упомянуть добавленную после многочисленных просьб функцию компенсации задержек между дорожками — Automatic Delay Compensation.

Задержка может появляться под воздействием многих факторов, чаще всего это задержка аудио интерфейса при обработке аудио-фрагмента после записи,

или задержка появившаяся после обработки фрагмента тяжелыми эффектами, либо целым стеком эффектов.

Доп. информация: Avid уже начала продажи Pro Tools 9 по цене $599 за коробку, либо $210 за обновление с LE версии, либо $295 за обновление с M-Powered. Pro Tools продается как и в виде Box версии, включающей в себя DVD с программой и всеми печатными материалами, DVD с драйверами, DVD с аудио лупами, различные печатные материалы с информацией о установке и начальных сведениях для работы с программой и ключ iLok для авторизации программы.

Xочется сказать, что Avid действительно делает очень большой шаг (и отчасти рискованный) в сторону обычных юзеров, необычный для этой компании, теперь Pro Tools становится видимым конкурентом Steinberg Cubase/Nuendo, Ableton Live и другим DAW.

1.) Удалить предыдущую версию Pro Tools.

2.) Установить Xcode. После в Terminal ввести команду gdb test (ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО!)

3.) Установить Pro Tools + дополнения Install Complete Production Toolkit 2.mpkg и Install HEAT.pkg

из этой папки /Volumes/Pro Tools/Additional Files/Toolkit and Options Installers/

4.) Затем всё это дело пропатчить с помощью PTHD.dmg

5.) Для запуска Pro Tools использовать PT9Loader из /Applications/Digidesign/Pro Tools/

(Иконку в доке можно заменить на PT9Loader) )))
