Чтобы установить клиент в Ubuntu иногда хватает запуска «Центра приложений Ubuntu», в поиске которого вводится название программы.

После чего появляется требуемое приложение. Выбирайте его и нажимайте кнопку «Установить». При таком способе установка на Linux не требует запуска терминала и добавления репозиториев.

Если данный способ не помог, то необходима установка через терминал с добавлением репозиторий. Для запуска терминала в Linux воспользуйтесь сочетанием клавиш Ctrl+Alt+T.

В появившемся окне следует ввести следующие команды:

  • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:qbittorrent-team/qbittorrent-stable
  • sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install qbittorrent

Правильно написав команды или скопировав их отсюда, после нажатия кнопки Enter, осуществится установка клиента qBittorrent в Ubuntu. Установка занимает всего несколько секунд, так как клиент требует мало места на жестком диске.

После установки найдите программу в меню приложений и скачивайте с помощью торрент-файлов любимые сериалы, фильмы, музыку, игры и программы.

Quick instructions

About qbittorrent : qbittorrent is a torrent client, an alternative to utorrent. It’s a GUI based cross platform free software based on Qt toolkit.

We know that Kali Linux’s base package is constructed in Debian, so we need to add http://http.packages.debian.org to sources.list file. To do this,

1. open any text editor and edit sources.list file, located in /etc/apt directory, with an entry deb http://http.packages.debian.org import deb packages .

How to install qBittorrent on Kali linux

Peer-to-peer file sharing is not a new concept, however, to download files from such a network we need client software like qBittorrent. Here we let you know the steps to install qBittorrent on Kali Linux.

qBittorrent is a file-sharing client that allows access to the BitTorrent network and participation in sharing is possible. It is one of the popular alternatives to client uTorrent.

It is an open-source cross-platform available for Windows, Linux, and macOS. In addition to this qBittorrent also offers a portable version, so that installation on the computer is no longer necessary.

The first version of qBittorrent was published in March 2006 and since then the program has been in an active development phase.

Steps for qBittorrent installation on Kali Linux

1. Open Command terminal

Here we will use the command terminal to download qBittorrent packages. Thus, either use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+T or use the Terminal icon given in Xfce Taskbar to open it.

2. Run system update

To rebuild the system repo cache and update existing packages run the system update command:

The interface of the application is simple and very easy to understand by anyone. The software also has an integrated RSS reader so that qBittorrent can be used to download files directly from RSS feeds. Furthermore, qBittorrent can run over a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and proxy servers are also supported.
