In the world of Rune Midgard, it was a time of strife between the Gods, Humans and demons.

Key Features
Hybrid 2D/3D Graphics
One of the first things noticed about RO is that the character and player models are sprite based while the towns, fields and dungeons are polygonal. This gives RO a unique visual style that hearkens back to the golden age of console RPGs.
Extensive PVE and PVP content
Whether you want to hunt down the toughest monsters in Rune Midgard or engage in our bi-weekly Guild vs. Guild War of Emperium, Ragnarok Online has over 10 years worth of content, including new maps, new classes, challenging instanced dungeons and PVP arenas and Battlegrounds.
Extensive class system
Every player starts out as a novice class character, from there you choose a class. Multiple branching paths when you level up adds up to a total of 32 classes, each with their own specific abilities. From the hard-hitting Monk to the Robot riding Mechanic, there is a class for every type of player.
Make your character your own
Character’s skills stats are completely customizable with each choice ultimately changing the direction a character will take. Combinated with many different job choices this allows characters to be unique adventurers in the world of Ragnarok Online.
Forge, brew and sell
Merchant class characters can open shops, and put items up for sale in a totally player driven economy. In addition, certain classes can craft high level equipment and consumables.
Weekly events and updates
RO is updated every week with fun new things for players to do, and we have major quests and events added every month.
Passionate Community
The RO fanbase was established in the early 2000s and we have many players who have been with us since the game’s early days. We have quests, in-game art and events that come directly from our extremely creative community.

есть ли возможность запуска на достопочтимом агрызке компьютерных технологий? Ж)

сиди и помалкивай ен создавай оффтоп, вирке спросишь
ээээ, вопрос, а какая макось? 
последние, все на BSD основаны, тоесть там таже проблемма с Direct3D, если в ихнем MacOS эмуле нармальная поддержка Direct3D то работать в 90% будет, если нет, то 90% не будет
и почему огрызок? Очень классная вещь.
Только через эмулятор PC
только что поговорил с народом активно юзающий мак,
- эмулятор PC тормозит ужасно(торговца тоелько если посадить)
- директ3Д поддержки нет
- народ не пробовал но уверен что ничего не выйдет
под огрызком я понимал логотип :Р
работать то будет наверно, это может сам знал, но вот под Мотр есть клиетнт-то? хоят наверно нету, но будет ли?
А где вообще эмулятор можно взять. Бо такая же проблема. .
через эмуль, больше никак не наше способа на буке с маком запускать(
Орхиологи молодцы, стоко знакомых имен, сам 1-й раз за полтора года зашел:)
Поставил на мак Parallels Desktop 4.0
Всё работает вроде как здорово(не считая глюка с чтением русского, но это мелочи. позже исправлю)
Запускаю updater.exe всё впорядке с проверкой обновлений, а когда в игру логинюсь не может подключится к серверу. В чём может быть проблема? Интернет настроен и работает вполне корректно.
Virtual Box поставь. Работает шустро и стабильно. Потестил на работе. С сетью проблем нет.
p.s. но Мак все равно должен умереть в муках от осознания собственного гламурного убожества.
Поставил Virtual Box, проблема таже, видимо обе ВМ работают как надо быть. Буду искать проблему в других областях 😯
P.S.
И не надо им умирать, с них так классно кино смотреть. У меня у телевизора диагональ меньше чем у мака, да и пульт у телека не такой удобный 😯
Про сеть не посоветую, не настолько силен в маках.

Проблему надо было искать в своём IQ, одну мелочь пропустил — диск с РОшкой записывал давно. Скачал заного и всё кажется собирается заработать) И под Параллелями и под Виртуал Боксом Спасибо за помощь
Эмм.. А чем BootCamp не устраивает? Не пойму смысла извращения, ставь винду и юзай ро.
Более того скорее всего будут те же проблемы, что и с запуском под линухом..абракадавр, мак — лучший на сегодня персональный компьютер. Ни один бренд не предложит за такую цену аналогичное или хотя бы близкое качество.
drinkermann, Что есть качество? За цену мака можно купить на 30-50% более производительный компьютер, который не сломается до устаревания, о чем тут еще спорить?
p.s. Я уж не говорю, что в случае с маком исключен или практически исключен апгрейд.
Ноутбуки один фиг никто не апгрейдит.
А в качестве домашнего компьютера мак просто неприемлим из-за своей галимой несовместимости со всем что работает.
Для запуска любой кастомной программы поднимать эмулятор винды?
Увольте.
Маки не везде стоят дороже
Да и по-моему почти у всех владельцев мака есть еще и пк/ноут с виндой.

Ok so depending on the RO client you’ll use the location of the exe will be different.
Using POL_Shortcut, it is possible to simply give the name of the executable (POL then searches a file with the same name).
I don’t know if it’s possible to do the same with the older function (POL_Setupwindow_make_shortcut) for the simple reason that the idiots at POL removed the doc on the deprecated API.
If you run on POL «$PROGRAMFILES/Gravity/RagnarokOnline» ) to the right one.
The game still doesn’t run for me. but at least I got past the launcher.
