CrossOver

  • Choose a crosshair from over 50 included or drop a custom image
  • Click and drag the crosshair to move Crossover around
  • Double-click the bullseye ◎ to center
  • Use Control — Alt — Shift and arrow keys for fine-tuning
  • Control — Alt — Shift — X to lock in place
  • Control — Alt — Shift — R to reset app settings
  • Fast and lightweight
  • Choose from tons of true-to-life sights
  • Cross-platform: Windows, MacOS, and Linux support
  • Support for multiple monitors
  • Choose between center Dot or Crosshair
  • Customize crosshair size, color, and opacity
  • Persistant settings remembers your choices automatically
  • Automatically updates in the background to keep your features fresh

Other crosshair programs offer a single style or color option, and often don’t allow you to reposition them. CrossOver is a small, unintrusive crosshair overlay which has plenty of configuration options to assist with aiming and vision of your crosshair. CrossOver offers a huge improvement to many games’ default crosshairs for those with colorblindness or contrast issues.

Thanks to Reddit user /u/IrisFlame for the premade library of crosshairs!

macOS 10.10+, Linux, and Windows 7+ are supported.

Currently CrossOver only works with windowed applications, use Windowed Fullscreen mode if your game or application supports it. Windows

If you absolutely need to use Fullscreen mode, or your game is not supported by crossover, there is a workaround using AutoHotKey.

Install AutoHotKey and run this script with it (save it as script.ahk and double-click it):

Once in-game, pressing space should put the crosshair over the screen, even in fullscreen mode.

An extra big thanks to the crosshair providers, as this wouldn’t be possible without them:

Cursor junkyard

Not everybody uploads enough cursors to create a cursor sets. Such submittions end up on the cursor junkyard. Despite the name, there are some worthy pieces. Check them out.

How to change the mouse pointer?

If you change your cursors frequently, consider using a free tool that allows you to change cursor from Windows Explorer context menu. Beside changing cursors one by one, the tool also allows exporting and importing cursor schemes.

If you do not want to install any software, just click on Control Panel in Start menu, then double-click the Mouse icon and switch to Pointer tab. Here you can change the cursors used by Windows in different situations to the downloaded ones.

Adding your cursors to the library

If you are an author of a cursor or cursor set, you may present your work to visitors of this web site. To add your cursors to the library:

  • Get RealWorld Cursor Editor (it’s free).
  • Open a cursor file, and click the command «Cursor»->»Add to Online Library» from application menu.
    • When uploading, please use the same email address associated with your account on this server.
    • Carefully choose file name and fill in the description. This helps people to find your cursor when using the search box.
  • The cursors are by default added to the «Junkyard». If you have already added multiple cursors with similar theme and you would like to have them turned into a cursor set, register or login and return to this page.

Important: only cursor authors or copyright holders may add cursor to the library. If you are using pictures downloaded from internet to create cursors, you must make sure the author of the pictures allows this use of their work.

If you have found that someone has used your pictures and added them to the library without your permission, contact us immediately at info@rw-designer.com and they will be removed.

Important: always create 32×32 pixels cursors unless you have a serious reason not to. While it is possible to make cursors of non-standard size, Windows will automatically resample them decreasing image quality.

HudSight

AK-47 in custom crosshair software. Simple, Reliable, Powerful.

Robust custom crosshair rendering directly in a game screen. Forget about input lags in windowed modes. Just start and win!

Windows 7/8/10 (32 and 64-bits)

Easy to use

Just set one of pre-installed crosshairs or select your own image and that’s all! Run a game and software will do the rest of work — your image will be automatically centered on the game screen.

No input lag

HudSight draws a crosshair overlay right over a game frame and it doesn’t matter what video mode is used in a game. That is why you can switch your game to fullscreen and get minimal input lag. Finally!

Compatibility

Software can work with games based on DirectX 9, 10, 11, 12, OpenGL and Vulkan graphics. 32 and 64-bits games are welcome. It works on Windows 7, 8 and 10.

Updates price?

All updates are free!

What are the minimal requirements?

Windows 7 and GPU with DirectX 11 support, a bit of free RAM and HDD space 😉

How to activate HudSight?

Just purchase the license and you’ll get the code to your email right after your order is completed. Click to the activation button in the main software window or in the trial window and enter your code. Please note, the program requires access to the hudsight.com server to activate itself.

Will I get banned for this software?

HudSight is not a cheat, it doesn’t change games files or game play, it just draws an overlay (like Steam or Origin services or some other tools). But please make sure that the Terms of Service of a game you play do not deny such enhancement. For example, PunkBuster anti-cheat service gave manual bans for the screenshots of custom crosshairs in old Battlefield 2 and 2142 games.

I don’t see a crosshair in my stream/recording

HudSight works in the same manner as most of recording/streaming tools. It intercepts the GPU commands execution and it is possible that your recording tool already captured a game frame before HudSight draws its crosshair. The only way to «fix» this is to change an order of tools starting (who will process a game frame before?).

I still have a question

Then you can try to ask the developer 🙂 Please do this using support widget on the right side of this page.
