Where to download Windows 7 driver for Rapoo E9070 wireless keyboard?

I don’t need to install any additional drivers for this keyboard in Windows 8. It detects it automatically but my Windows 7 can’t detect this keyboard automatically, it needs an additional driver for it. The problem is that I found one driver online, I think it’s the official one from Rapoo but it’s a .exe that you have to install. The problem with this driver is that whenever I shutdown or restart my PC, the driver gets removed and then I have to uninstall the keyboard from device manager and then restart my PC again so that this Rapoo .exe will install again. I know it sounds weird but that’s basically what I have to do to get it to work. So are there any better drivers out there for this keyboard, maybe a third party program or software?

The driver and utilities are available from the manufacturer’s site.

Rapoo also advises to unplug the receiver, then «After the receiver is replugged, within 30 seconds, turn off and then turn on the touchpad, then press Num Lock and Backspace at the same time.»

If you know how to manually install drivers via the Device Manager, I suggest that you try that. For your convenience, I’ve extracted the driver files from the installer and uploaded them to MediaFire.

Rapoo also provides «pairing software» that may or may not be useful (the included help file is in Chinese). Look under «Download files» in the right column.

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

Why does my mouse arrow flicker?

1. Move other working wireless devices away from the receiver and mouse.
2. Clean the sensor on the bottom of the mouse with a dry cloth.
3. Try using the mouse on a different surface.

Why doesn’t my mouse arrow move?

1. Please use the mouse on a mouse pad.
2. Try the mouse on a white paper to check if the special surface you use causes this problem.

Do I have to unplug the receiver and turn off the device when I’m not using it?

Rapoo products have a power-saving function to maximize battery life. You do not have to turn the mouse/ keyboard off every time you stop using it. When the product is not moving or there is no signal from the USB receiver, it will automatically turn sleep-mode on to save battery power. When you complete work with the product for the day, we do recommend to use the On/Off power button to optimize the battery life.

How to repair the 2.4 GHz wireless connection?

Unplug the USB receiver from the laptop/ PC. After the USB receiver is replugged, within 30 seconds, turn off the mouse and then turn it on with the left key pressed.

My 2.4 GHz mouse/ keyboard shows irregular failures during usage?

1. Move other active wireless devices away from the device and receiver.
2. The PC can not respond immediately because the CPU is under full load.
3. Change battery if the low battery indicator is blinking.

My 2.4 GHz wireless mouse/ keyboard is not working?

1. Make sure the device is turned on.
2. Make sure the receiver is plugged into the PC’s USB port.
3. The PC can not recognize the receiver, please re-plug the receiver.
4. Check if the battery is installed correctly.
5. Low battery, please change the battery.
6. Move other working wireless devices away from the receiver and device.
7. Please keep away from walls or big objects, because this may reduce the range.

Батарейки проверили? Переключатель передвинули в положение «ON»? Ресивер хорошо воткнули в ПК?

Я не поленился, взял такую клаву с витрины, сделал все выше описанное, клава работает.

Да, такой нюанс — батарейки почему-то идут уже установленными в клаву. Быть может, она у вас была включена и батарейки разрядились?

P.S.: печатаю с этой клавы

Alexey Sergeevich 02.07.2013 18:27 Беда в том, что у клавы нет диодов и не понятно, работает она или нет. Попробуйте отключить предыдущую клаву или перезагрузиться. Лучше, конечно, воткнуть ее в другой ПК. Тогда хоть ясно станет, в клаве ли дело. Больше и не знаю, что посоветовать.

Хотя это маловероятно. Это должна делать служба Плаг энд Плей. Если не получается, в диспетчере устройств можно попробовать вручную установить драйвер «Клавиатуры HID».
