Works with a slight bug
I ran into the same issue some of the recent reviews have stated. You open the app, click the .rar file you want to convert, then the Finder re-jumps up. This is where I was stumped for a few minutes as you cannot re-click the file you are trying to convert. All you have to do on the 2nd window is click open again (or whatever button is there on the bottom right) Don’t hit cancel, it looks like nothing is happening but it converts the file to .abr and was in my download folder.

I don’t usually write reviews (I’m lazy), but this RAR extractor dies exactly that. Easy to use, just double click on the file you wish to extract, it opens a finder window to extract to or make a folder to extract into. Flawless in operation and the price (free) is the best.
