Давайте разберемся чем на самом деле является java и посмотрим историю ее появления в сегодняшнем компьютерном мире, а также рассмотрим важнейший вопрос компьютерной безопасности в связи с использованием этого приложения в различных модификациях как непосредственно самого Windows, а также других операционных систем.

Итак, java на самом деле является языком программирования, позволяющим компьютеру расшифровывать определенные программные приложения, с которыми он может сталкиваться на интернет сайтах. Так, например, многие интернет банкинги используют этот язык для создания на сайтах платежных систем различных функциональных кнопок, что значительно облегчает скорость работы компьютера с тем или иным сайтом. Начало работы над этим программным продуктом приходится на 1990 год. А вот первая версия java появляется только через шесть лет. Этот продукт первоначально имел название Oak, что переводится с английского как дуб, и был разработан компанией Sun Microsystems, но в дальнейшем и сам программный продукт, да и вся компания были приобретены известной американской компанией Oracle. И на сегодня этот программный продукт является незаменимым инструментом многих программистов.

Главным достоинством этого языка является не только популярность у его разработчиков, но и наличие большого количества специалистов программирующего на нем. Если говорить о скорости работы самого языка с компьютером, то он во многом уступает своему конкуренту С++, но из-за своей популярности особенно среди банковских приложений он успешно продолжает конкуренцию на рынке IT технологий. Если говорить о безопасности, то само наличие такого плагина при работе в интернете делает компьютер более уязвимым для различных хакерских атак. Но с другой сторон разработчики компании постоянно занимаются тем чтобы уменьшить такую опасность. И при правильной настройке самого компьютера такая опасность значительно уменьшается.

How to install .sis or .jar apps in Windows Phone?

I tried to download operamini in .sis and .jar format. but still the format is not supported. why is that? i can’t download other application except from the marketplace. can somebody help me?

.jar is the Java archive file format and Java code cannot run on Windows Phone.

.sis is an archive file for apps and executable’s meant for the Symbian operating system. Hence, even these cannot run on Windows Phone.

If you want to convert an app that is available on another platform to make it usable on Windows Phone, you can either rewrite the application using one of the .NET framework languages.

For a global solution to writing code for multiple platforms you could use C++ .

you are correct. you only can download apps from the official Marketplace.

If you have a developer unlocked phone you can install applications with the .xap extension made for Windows Phone.

Can one develop an entire application using JavaFX and run it on iOS, Android or Windows Phone 8, without writing platform-specific code?

Background

Invariant’s answer is a good resource for how everything was started and what was the state of JavaFX on embedded and mobile in beginning of 2014. But, a lot has changed since then and the users who stumble on this thread do not get the updated information.

Most of my points are related to Invariant’s answer, so I would suggest to go through it first.

JavaFXPorts has been deprecated. Gluon Mobile now uses GraalVM underneath. There are multiple advantages of using GraalVM. Please check this blogpost from Gluon. The IDE plugins have been updated to use Gluon Client plugins which leverages GraalVM to AOT compile applications for Android/iOS.

• Mobile Project has been launched by Oracle to support JDK on all major mobile platforms. It should support JavaFX as well 😉

How to Run Java Apps on Windows Phone 8

In this article we will tell you how to run Java Apps on Windows Phone 8. Here’s the complete procedure:

Windows phone 8 came into existence on 29 th October 2012 and grabbed many eyeballs for featuring a unique interface which was a considerable transformation from its previous avatars. It was christened Metro (or the modern UI), where Microsoft has enhanced the older CE architecture. It received mixed reactions at inception. But surely made an impact which was far from ordinary! The devices for Windows phone 8 are being manufactured by different mobile giants such as HTC, Nokia, Huawei and Samsung.

While WP8 is slowly and steadily developing its windows platform based mobile programs and constantly updating the Windows Phone store, their usability could be enhanced by instituting JAVA which is sure to perform some unique tasks. According to your requirements or needs you can download JAVA which is going to support you with app extenders (drivers) or support you in running another browser instead of the boxed internet explorer. It is recommended to install java or any java enabled apps on the external SD card.

The steps to run JAVA on windows phone 8 are listed below:

• User will have to connect their Windows Mobile device to their computer device via USB. Followed by downloading Java from a trusted online source on your mobile device.
• When you have downloaded the Java application on your device in zip format use a universal extractor to extract the installation files. Select the CAB (cabinet) files next. Next double click the installer to execute the application.

• Ensure you have a minimum free space of 8 MB for successfully installing the application
• The progress bar will be visible on your handset unless it’s fully installed. When finished installation it will be intimating you by displaying a message- “SUN_JAVAFX.CAB was successfully installed “.
• After this you will have to locate the program file (executable/launcher). Generally it’s available on the start menu. In case you are unable to find it there then you will have to search for it on C:/Program Files. When you are able to trace it then go through the JAVAFX and click on the Start up option.
• Within JAVAFX you will be able to see different file lists. You are going to see some bundled java applications such as calculator, fish simulator etc. You can move ahead and click on any one of the applications, which will trigger the JAVAFx window. The same window will disappear in a flash!
• And when the window disappears you will be able to see your applications. Further to this if you wish to add more java apps to your handset then you would have to rely on the Windows Phone store. Microsoft still doesn’t officially allow installation of java enabled apps directly from third party sources, however following the pointers above can certainly make your life easy.
• After completing all the installations you should restart your mobile device for ending any un-finished process and start afresh.

A PC running the Windows 10 May 2020 Update or later. For best performance, we recommend having at least 8GB of RAM.

An Android device running Android 11.0.

On your Android device, you need Link to Windows version 2.1.05.6 or higher, or Your Phone Companion version 1.20104.15.0 or higher.

Multiple apps works for Your Phone versions 1.20104.20.0 or higher.

How do I set up Apps?
