Trying to setup wireless printer using the above software on my mac, however, after unziping it says it is damaged. Tried numerous downloads and give the same reuslt. Is the software damaged?

Try to download again the setup from the link. If it crashes that means that it can’t support your version.

That was the link I was using. I had hoped that the EasyWirelessSetup_Mac would work on the higher version of my OS but EasyWirelessSetup is either damaged or will not work on my OS.

With Mac you sometimes need to use the following command to be able to install easy wireless setup.

sudo spctl —master-disable

after you installed easy wireless setup you use the following command to activate the security on your mac

sudo spctl —master-enable

This has to be done in the command window when you type in »terminal» in search.

Настройка Wi-Fi через программу EasyWirelessSetup

Каким образом можно выполнить настройку Wi-Fi подключение непосредственно в МФУ/принтере к точке доступа через утилиту EasyWirelessSetup

1. В модели МФУ/принтера обязательно должен быть установлен Wi-Fi модуль. Зачастую это обозначается «W» в самом названии. Например, ML-2165W.

2. Выполняем скачивание и установку утилиты EasyWirelessSetup.

3. Выполняем запуск и жмем Далее

4. Выполняем включение МФУ/принтер, подключив его методом USB и подождать его загрузки. После этого жмем Далее.

5. После этого выбираем Использование кабеля USB и жмем Далее.

6. Утилита производит поиск, среди всех подключенных устройств.

7. Выбираем сеть из списка, к которой выполняем подключение МФУ/принтера.

8. Вводим Пароль сети.

9. Выполняем отключение от кабеля USB, МФУ/принтер и жмем — Готово.
