Sapphire Plug-Ins 10.1 for After Effects

Небольшое руководство как скачать, установить и активировать набор плагинов Sapphire Plug-Ins 10.1 for After Effects на платформе Mac OS X.
Так как все скачанные архивы были битыми, при разарживировании не было одного тома, т.е. в итоге на руках мы получали папку с лекарством MACOSX-AMPED. Поэтому сам дистрибутив плагина качаем с официального сайта: http://files.genarts.com/sapphire/SapphireAEInstall-10.1.dmg.
Итак, делаем двойной клик по архиву: SapphireAEInstall-10.1.dmg.

Запустится процесс открытия и проверки SapphireAEInstall-10.1.dmg.

Делаем двойной клик мышью по: SapphireAEInstall-10.1.pkg.

В окне Установка: Sapphire Plug-ins 10.1 for AE появляется следующее сообщение — Данный пакет запустит программу, которая определит, возможна ли установка этого ПО. Нажимаем на кнопку: Продолжить.

Нажимаем на кнопку: Продолжить.

Читаем лицензионное соглашение и если согласны с ним, то нажимаем на кнопку: Продолжить.

Для продолжения установки программного обеспечения необходимо принять условия лицензионного соглашения. Нажимаем на кнопку: Принимаю.

Нажимаем на кнопку: Продолжить.

Смотрим сколько места на диске займет данная установка и нажимаем на кнопку: Продолжить.

Вбиваем: имя пользователя/пароль и нажимаем Установить ПО.

Запустится процесс установки плагина: Sapphire Plug-Ins 10.1 for AE.

По окончании установки, запустится GenArt License Tool с окном: Not Licensed. Где ставим галку перед пунктом: Complete installation without entering a license. И нажимаем на кнопку: Continue.

Нажимаем на кнопку: Done (Готово).

Установка была успешно завершена. Нажимаем на кнопку: Закрыть.

Далее, на системном диске идем в директорию: /Library(Библиотеки)/Application Support/GenArts/rlm и удаляем там файл rlm_demo_ae.lic.

Теперь из аптечки MACOSX-AMPED копируем в эту директорию следующие файлы: genarts.lic, genarts.set, genarts_host.lic, rlm и rlmutil.

Из старых файлов там останется только: SapphireAE.lic (кто сразу пошагово делает активацию, не дочитав до конца статьи, этот файл также надо удалить в Корзину и очистить ее.

Запускаем программу Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 и при загрузке видим как сканируются эффекты из набора: Sapphire Plug-Ins 10.1 for After Effects > S_Grunge.plugin и т.д.

В панели Эффекты (Effects) список доступных категорий набора плагинов Sapphire:

Применяем к видео на таймлайне эффект: выбираем: Эффекты > Sapphire Lighting > S_Glow и смотрим на результат в окне Программа: красный крест триала.

А также появляется сообщение об ошибке: Sapphire Plug-ins Error. Error: RLM Status -111. Error: Connection refused at server (-111). И т.д. если коротко, то ошибка связана с оставленным файлом SapphireAE.lic. Закрываем программу и удаляем его.

Теперь эффект S_Glow нормально применяется и работает:

Идем в панель Элементы управления эффектами и в закладке S_Glow, нажимаем на кнопку: Load Preset.

Sapphire Plug-ins. S_Glow is starting the Preset Browser.

В Preset Browser выбираем пресет Heat Passion и нажимаем на кнопку: Load.

Смотрим на результат:

Установка, активация и работа производилась на рабочей станции Apple Mac Pro 1.1 с операционной системой OS X Yosemite 10.10 и без выхода в интернет.

Concerning After Effects 17.1.1 on Mac OS 10.15 (Catalina):

After Effects 17.1.1 running on MacOS 10.15 (Catalina) is not compatible with Continuum 2020.5 (13.5.0) and earlier.
If you are experiencing instability with Continuum 2020.5 (13.5.0) please update to version 13.5.1.

The installer below is for use with all AE compatible products including After Effects and Premiere Pro.

To Download and install:

1. Make sure you have one or more AE plug-in compatible applications on a Mac with an Intel CPU and MacOS 10.13 or greater on an m1 Mac with MacOS 11.
2. If you have an older version of Sapphire Plug-ins, the new installation will replace it, and you do not need to un-install it first.
3. Quit AE or other host applications that may be running.
4. Download the installer.
5. Run the installer. When it asks for your passphrase, enter your macOS user login password, and follow the instructions given by the installer.
6. Restart your host product, and the new plug-ins should appear in your effects menu.

To view on-line documentation after you install the software, go to the /Applications/GenArtsSapphireAE folder and double click on Online Help.html or Online Help.pdf. You can also click on the “About” box while using any plug-in.

In general, you can load projects saved with older Sapphire effects and they should automatically convert to use Sapphire v14.5. Please visit the support page for more info on this.

If you already installed Sapphire v14.5 and want to go back to an older version you should first uninstall v14.5.
