Чтобы быстро скачать Shazam на Мак, следуем инструкции:

• Открываем предустановленный Mac App Store.

• Авторизуемся в системе, если это вдруг не было сделано ранее.
• В поиске вбиваем название искомой программы.

• Пройдя по ссылке на результат, скачиваем приложение, нажав соответствующую кнопку.

Если утилита уже установлена на любом мобильном девайсе, на котором используется тот же аккаунт iTunes, приложением можно будет пользоваться сразу благодаря технологии Launchpad.

Для полноценной работы необходима версия Mac OS X 10.9 или более новая. Процессор должен быть 64-разрядный.

Отличие от мобильной версии

Шазам для Мак ОС изначально выделялся благодаря тому, что в нем можно было распознавать музыку вокруг без перерыва и нажатия кнопки запуска каждый раз, когда пользователь хотел распознать очередной трек. Однако теперь эта граница стерлась, поскольку на Айфоне появился режим «Авто» с тем же функционалом.

Основное, на что делался упор, — возможность использования большего объема ресурсов. Речь идет как о возможностях оперативки (интерфейс декстопной версии более загружен различными ссылками на Ютуб, новостями мира музыки и т.д.), так и об отсутствии необходимости беспокоиться о заряде. Шазам для Mac OS – это тяжелая версия мобильного приложения, в которой разработчики смогли реализовать всё, что поможет меломану держать руку на пульсе современной музыкальной индустрии.

I downloaded this app so i can know every song playing at almost any time. With the new app, you have to manually click it and it only shazams the current song. Much preferred when it listened to every song it could catch. Love the redesign, but consider going back to autoshazam please.

No System Audio Listening (like the iPhone version)

Shazam is a great service but it would be much easier to use on a desktop system if it could listen to songs being played by other software on the same system, as it can do in iOS on the iPhone. The need for a microphone and speakers to shazam a track being played on the same system is too much of a requirment for use. Please let us shazam music played by any source on the system, like the iPhone.

Shazam on my desktop id’s poor recordings

It’s great, I just click on the little icon that stays at the top edge of my laptop when I want it to “listen” to id the music I’m playing in my video, captured during a class, and it not only gives me the name but a link to the actual piece.

been using shazam from past 4-5 years and it still works like a charm, only thing missing is access to your shazam account, hope it to see it in upcoming updates.

NOSTALGIC ( OLD IS GOLD )

I remember this app from when I first installed on my first touch screen phone of Nokia.

From that day this has been a golden app, full of mysteries for me, it has been a part of my childhood. And I want to thank apple to bring it for Mac.

For the app review, it’s already very good app, although one improvement can be done, if it opens an app rather than being a menu bar attachment, I think that would be more user friendly and innovative. 😉

One of the useful apps! Must have in your phone..

@ times you would want to know which song you are loving. This app is must @ that time.. It helped me browse so many spanish, english and telugu songs..

Использование приложения Shazam

Если у вас установлено приложение Shazam на iPhone, iPad, iPod touch или Mac, его можно использовать для распознавания музыки и сохранения ее в медиатеке.

1. Откройте приложение Shazam на своем устройстве.
2. Нажмите кнопку Shazam , чтобы определить, что за музыка звучит вокруг.

Композиция, определенная приложением Shazam, сохраняется на экране «Моя музыка» вместе со всеми предыдущими шазамами.

После определения композиции можно подключиться к Apple Music и другим музыкальным сервисам для прослушивания шазама.

Если подключение к Интернету отсутствует, программа все равно создает уникальный цифровой отпечаток для сопоставления с базой данных Shazam при следующем подключении вашего устройства к Интернету. Если определить композицию не удается, она будет убрана из списка ожидания Shazam.

Update needed for full compatibility with other versions

This app in this version (2.1.0) works fine and recognises songs brilliantly. The only issue is that I think this version pre-dates the Apple acquisition and so does not share tracks recognised with the iOS/iPadOS versions (which have just recently started using iCloud for syncing). An update is needed!

Brilliant

As a muso this is a must have for me. I’ve never really had any problems with this application usually it runs very smoothly. It’s not perfect but it is revolutionary and as I recall there wasn’t an application that did this before. It should be noted that this application does not recognise all songs. Nonetheless It should be a default app on Devices like stocks (which the majority of us never use) I wish there was an alternative to actually downloading the music other than the ones on offer.

Autoshazam doesn’t work on Big Sur

Well, I’ve double-clicked to enable Autoshazam, but then it just listens forever, although there are 3 songs changed already. And previous from same album been recognized perfectly when shazamed manually. And there’s no even way to report a problem 🙁
