Какого, на фиг, монстра?:)
7700 поддерживает только диапазоны 4 и 17 LTE, и поэтому имеет практическое применение только в Северной Америке.

Добрый вечер форумчане.

Нужна помощь с ремонтом модема Sierra Wireless aircard 881U.

Проблема заключается в следующем. После нажатия кнопки подключить. В процессе подключения модем не может подключиться к Интернету. Перепрошивка официальной прошивкой не помогла. Аналогичный модем с тем же ноутбуком работает без проблем, т.е. проблема точно с модемом.
Визуальные отличия рабочего и не рабочего модема. В окне управляющей утилиты у нерабочего модема не появляется белая рамка вокруг надписи EDGE.
Для работы с модемом использую управляющую утилиту Watcher Generic.

Возможно, кто-то сталкивался с такой проблемой или подскажет как побороть проблему.

У меня ноутбук Lenovo T61, имеется модем Sierra Wireless MC8775. Залочен.

Пытаюсь разлочить через DC Unlocker и получаю ошибку такого характера:

«Unlocking, please wait .

Прошивал модем последней прошивкой(2.0.8.19), но это не помогло избавиться от ошибки при разлочке.

Очень нуждаюсь в помощи! :blush:

Что, такая редкая, уникальная прошивка? Может быть, какая-нибудь другая подойдёт, в нормальном формате?

Я даже не спрашиваю — для чего, вообще, Вы решили менять прошивку?

Помогите настроить связку Mikrotik +Sierra Mini-PCIe 7710 LTE. Установка модема в слот автоматически приводит к появлению порта ppp-out1. Собственно, это и все. В свойствах интерфейса — бесконечное waiting for packets. В ресурсах USB модем видится, серийный номер его читается. Через терминал модем отвечает на AT команды. SIM карта Yota установлена в sim holder. Прошить модем в DIP не могу, так как нет ноутбука с слотом miniPCIe. Ревизия модема 03.00.08

В дополнение к предыдущему посту:
Модем видит сеть Yota, о чем свидетельствует результат команд AT!GSTATUS? и AT+COPS=?
Но регистрироваться и получать IP адрес не хочет.
Может SIM карту Yota надо было активировать и выбрать тариф?
Но ведь и не активированная на минимальной скорости должна работать, и пустить на свой сайт, чтобы дать доступ в личный кабинет Yota.

Flash using Sierra Wireless Linux Flashing Tool (fwdwl-lite)

All instruction have been tested on Ubuntu 18.04 using a LiveUSB without persistent storage. If you want to use another version of Linux, that is completely on you and I will not help you at all.

  1. Boot USB/CD
  2. Select Try Ubuntu
  3. Open Terminal and Firefox

  • Stop and disable ModemManager during update process

  • Download and unzip the 01.05.01.00 Generic Firmware (Linux)
    • SWI9X50C_01.05.01.00_00_GENERIC_001.028_000.zip
    • unzip SWI9X50C_01.05.01.00_00_GENERIC_001.028_000.zip -d ./swi_fw0105
  • Download and unzip the latest 7565 Generic Firmware (Linux)
    • Currently: SWI9X50C_01.07.02.00_GENERIC_002.004_000.zip
    • unzip SWI9X50C_01.07.02.00_GENERIC_002.004_000.zip -d ./swi_fwlatest
  • Download and Extract the latest Linux QMI SDK Software (fwdwl-litehostx86_64)
    • SLQS04.00.15-lite.bin.tar.gz
    • tar —extract —strip-components 3 —file SLQS04.00.15-lite.bin.tar.gz SampleApps/lite-fw-download/bin/fwdwl-litehostx86_64
  • Flash to SWI9X50C_01.05.01.00_00_GENERIC_001.028_000

    • If you get stuck at the follow prompt for more than 60 seconds, check dmesg and see if the modem has already rebooted. If it has, you are safe to hit CTRL+C.

    The EM7455/MC7455 is a Category 6 LTE modem. It is capable of 300Mbps down and 50Mbps up.

    Real world, you are unlikely to ever see much more than 230Mbps, even on Sprint Carrier Aggregation of Band 41+41 (40MHz total).

    These are my peak results so far (B2+B12, 30MHz total):

    Higher speeds will require a modem capable of 3CA (Three Carrier Aggregation) such as the em7565

    • EM7565 allows 3CA of B2+B12+B30 for a total downlink of 40MHz on approximately 60% of AT&T towers (Assuming you are close and have a strong signal).
    • LTEFix now offers the em7565 pre-flashed to the latest firmware. If the process of flashing seems daunting, I suggest you purchase through them and pay for the flashing service as you will receive a modem already in a usable state.

    If your Laptop has a M.2 WWAN slot, get the Dell DW5811e em7455 and change its identity according to your needs.

  • This model (typically) supports Bands 29 and 30, unlike the Lenovo Branded Modem.
  • When purchasing the Dell, I would recommend you get a production model. Engineering Samples will sometimes contain an early (SWI9X30C_00.08.02.00) firmware that can be a royal pain to flash due to AT!BOOTHOLD not being implemented.

    • Get USB adapter with SIM slot for modem
      • $26, shipped from Texas. Includes small 3dBi antennas.

    • If you are at the edge of coverage and need something better, look for 700-2700 MHz antennas with SMA connectors.
      • Buy some $0.75 SMA Female To RP-SMA Male Adapters if you buy antennas, just to be sure you can use what you get.

      • Log-Periodic antennas offer excellent gain for a low cost and small footprint.

    Bypass Lenovo Whitelist for T470/Carbon X1 G6 and other newer Lenovo laptops

    1. Enable Advanced Commands:
      • AT!ENTERCND=»A710″
    2. Do not skip full initialization on cold boots.
      • AT!CUSTOM=»FASTENUMEN»,2
      • Prevents device from showing up until it has been fully initialized. This causes the modem to stealth bypass BIOS whitelists as it will not show up until a few seconds after the BIOS has completed its checks.
    3. Tell the modem to ignore the W_DISABLE pin sent by many laptop’s internal M2 slots.
      • AT!PCOFFEN=2
    4. Force USB2 mode to enable compatibility with newer M.2 interfaces
      • AT!USBSPEED=0
      • The EM7455 cannot exceed USB2 interface speeds anyways, there is no performance loss.
    5. Save settings and reboot modem to apply
      • AT!RESET

    EM7565 ROOter Setup

    For GoldenOrb 2017-12-15 Release

    • Run the following AT commands to set to LTE only, and set the USB Composition to something that works with ROOter.

    • For qmi-firmware-update does not work with the 75xx series. Use this procedure instead.
