Benq Scanner 5250C 6.1 WHQL

In last month’s scanner Lab Test, Canon’s LiDE 80 was very much the odd one out. The quality was so good that we wondered why other manufacturers didn’t produce more LED scanners. BenQ has now answered this question by bringing us the 5250C.

As an LED scanner, the 5250C requires no power supply, taking all the juice it needs directly from a USB port (USB 2.0 preferably, for extra speed). The scanning lamp also needs no warm up time, so you can just plug it in and start scanning immediately, instead of waiting around for up to a minute for a CCF lamp to come up to temperature. Finally, the 5250C is a lot slimmer and lighter than CCF scanners, at 38mm and 1.7Kg.

All these things make the BenQ an ideal travelling companion for any laptop, and its good looks are a bonus, too. The style and finish of the 5250C is exceptionally good, with two-tone metallic blue and cream colouring that boosts the impression of quality. A neat row of five chrome buttons along the front gives one-touch operation for a variety of common scanning needs. The MiraScan software driver is particularly well laid out and easy to use, and enables a good degree of customisation for the one-touch operation buttons.

Scanning times are pretty swift, with an A4 preview time of nine seconds. Following that, a 5x7in photo at 300dpi resolution took 12 seconds to scan in our tests, while a mono A4 text page at 300dpi in ‘line art’ mode took 23 seconds – all pretty respectable. However, in terms of quality, reflective scanning wasn’t that impressive for photos. Sharpness was reasonable, but the colours were a bit on the dull side, often lacking the vibrancy of original photos. Contrast was also a bit down, but can be cranked up in the Mira software driver.

Drivers for scanners BenQ 3300u / 5000 / 5150C / 5250C / 5550 for Windows 98 / Me / 2000 / XP.

You must disconnect the device from the computer. Download the file, unzip it, run it and follow the instructions of the wizard.

Scanners are discontinued, BenQ is more at developing software for them. However, if you have such a device in working order, if necessary, try installing the driver from the table and on Windows 7-10 (32/64-bit). We have one of them (model 5550) installed on Windows 10 (64-bit). There is a possibility that others will work.

From BenQ 5000 owners experience: on Windows 7 – 10, the scanner can be defined in the device manager as FlatbedScanner 22. Do not worry, as a driver for FlatbedScanner 22, take the driver for the BenQ 5000.

In Jan 2003 I bought VueScan for my Epson Perfection 1200. I used it a lot, more functions than the standard driver. Got new computers with new operating systems, forgot about VueScan. Драйвера для сканеров Benq

Мне лень делать для каждого сканера отдельный пост, поэтому просто выложу ссылку на хранилище, где можно скачать для почти любой модели необходимый драйвер.
Поддержку ОС смотрите в инструкциях и драйверах.
Если будет необходима помощь, то пишите на почту или в комментариях, помогу за определенную плату (время мое стоит денег).

Краткая инструкция по установке, касается всех моделей:
1. Качаем нужный драйвер и устанавливаем.
2. Подключаем сканер в следующем порядке:
а) все кабеля подключаем но в розетку 220 (110) не включаем
б) втыкаем блок питания в розетку
3. Ждем установки.

Если сканер установился не правильно, тогда MiraScan будет выдавать ошибку, что сканер не найден. Надо будет в ручную указать драйвер. Делается это через диспетчер устройств. Как это сделать ищите в интернете.

Прошу прощения, скачала папку с моделью 5550, но в нет нет драйвера с расширением .inf даже в папке cat.

Потому что не надо быть очень умным и сразу запускать Setup.exe
Или быть очень умным и посмотреть внимательно, что файлы .inf = файлы .in_

Я пробую через диспетчер, драйвер нах-ся в папкеC:\Program Files (x86)\ScanDrv6\5550\Migrate, но дело в том, что у меня *64. и выдает ошибку, что сделать, скажите пожалуйста((((((
