Installing SmartShare software for PC

1. Download the installation file to your computer, found in the following link:

1. Start LG SmartShare, this image is displayed in the center of the screen.Click on one of the types of content, such as photo (photos).

2. On the main screen you can see:

If you add folders where there are photos, music or videos, they are automatically shared and available for devices connected by SmartShare.If the folder has a high number of files, the program may take a few moments to add it.

5. Under Settings — My Device, you can change the name with which you share. This way you can easily identify each PC on connected TVs.

6. Finally, in the ‘Allow / Block other devices’ area, you can manage what devices detected want to share content.7. When you have configured SmartShare you can close it. It will continue to run in the background and you will see its icon in the taskbar.

Play shared content

After configuring the software SmartShare, you will see the main program window shared files. These will now be available to the connected equipment. To reproduce the shared contents there are 2 ways:

From the SmartShare program itself1. You can force an image, music, or video to play on one of the connected devices.2. Click the right mouse button on one of the shared content and select Play now one of the connected devices.

From the TV (example with webOS 2.0)1. Access the Smart menu (launcher) on your TV and opens the application webOS SmartShare.

2. From the flyout devices, you will see the DLNA devices connected and you can access its contents.
