How to Install SmartPSS for OSX

Description

This tutorial is showing how to install SmartPSS on Mac computer.

Prerequisites

The procedures will require a Mac computer and SmartPSS already downloaded.

Step by Step Instructions

1. Download SmartPSS

2. Go to downloads and select the SmartPSS file.

3. Highlight SmartPSS ➞ Right Click and a sub menu will show ➞ Click on Open.

4. The MAC OSx security will block the installation of the «SmartPSS_Beta» software.

5. Go to the «System Preferences» option, «General» and you will see at the bottom the option to «Open Anyway».

6. After downloading the «SmartPSS» software move it from the download folder to the application folder.

7. Double click on the software to start the installation.

8. You will get this message when the installation is successful.

9. Double click on the «SmartPSS» icon. Setup a password.

10. Add a device.

11. Allow incoming network connections.

В последнее время пользователи компьютеров Apple на macOS Big Sur 11.0 стали испытывать трудности с загрузкой и установки популярного программного обеспечения, для видеонаблюдения и управления видеокамерами и другими устройствами фирмы Dahua – SmartPSS. На сайте производителя dahuasecurity.com – можно скачать версию

Smart PSSV2.03.0 для Catalina v 10.15.1 -Catalina v 10.15.5 .

Но macOS Big Sur более строго относится к программному обеспечению сторонних производителей и не позволяет их устанавливать в автоматическом режиме.

Проблема решается достаточно просто. Скачайте с сайта производителя файл .pkg.

Обязательно попробуйте установить ее. Если она не устанавливается необходимо внести заблокированное приложение в список исключений. Для этого нажмите кнопку «Подтвердить вход» в панели «Общие» в разделе настроек «Защита и безопасность». Эта кнопка доступна в течение примерно часа после попытки открыть приложение.

Чтобы изменить эти настройки на Mac, выберите меню Apple «Системные настройки», нажмите «Защита и безопасность», затем нажмите «Основные».

Там будет видна заблокированная программа. Введите пароль администратора и разрешите установку SmartPSS.

Также если Вы пытаетесь открыть приложение, которая не зарегистрирована в Apple установленным разработчиком, появляется диалоговое окно с предупреждением. Это не обязательно означает, что с приложением что-то не так.Если вы уверены в приложении, уверены, что оно не содержит вредоносного кода можно установить приложение в обход настроек безопасности.

Чтобы запустить приложение в обход настроек безопасности, выполните следующее.

В Finder на Mac найдите приложение, которое хотите открыть. Не используйте для этого Launchpad. В Launchpad нельзя использовать контекстное меню.

Удерживая клавишу Control, нажмите на значок приложения, затем выберите «Открыть» в контекстном меню.

Нажмите «Открыть». Приложение сохраняется в списке исключений из настроек безопасности, и в дальнейшем его можно будет запускать двойным нажатием, как любое зарегистрированное приложение.
