PySol FC (PySol Fan Club Edition) — карточные пасьянсы, маджонг, ханафуда и огромное количество их вариаций, в которые можно сыграть совершенно бесплатно на Linux, Windows или Mac. Исходный код PySol FC распространяется на условиях лицензии GPL2, игра на русском языке.

Во что можно поиграть? В PySol FC более тысячи карточных развлечений, одних только пасьянсов более 700, плюс около 200 маджонгов и остальные: вышеупомянутая ханафуда, шисен-се, прочие карточные головоломки и даже таро! И это еще не все. Здесь есть конструктор пасьянсов, в котором можно создать собственную игру и придумать для нее правила. Все игры удобно рассортированы по категориям и алфавиту, для быстрого доступа их можно добавить в избранное. Можно сохраняться, смотреть статистику, обращаться к правилам (на английском). Имеются демонстрационный режим и подсказки.

Внешний вид игрового стола и колоды можно менять. Для карт предусмотрена смена «рубашек» (зависит от колоды) или изменение колоды: например, мы можем играть современной, а можем воспользоваться картами начала XVI века. К слову, дополнительные стили карт можно найти в пакете pysolfc-cardsets, он устанавливается отдельно. Для стола предусматривается замена «классической» зеленой на какую-нибудь другую, более веселую картинку или простая заливка цветом. Помимо этих, имеются и некоторые другие настройки, например мы можем выбрать, нужны ли тени, подсветка разрешенных ходов, настроить цвета, используемые в оформлении, или задать скорость анимации. Действия в игре озвучены, музыкальное оформление отсутствует.

В Ubuntu/Linux Mint игру можно найти в «Центре приложений» или установить с помощью команды в терминале:

sudo apt install pysolfc

Для старых выпусков дистрибутива вместо apt используйте apt-get.

Windows solitaire on Mint

I installed Mint 14 — Mate on an HP core2quad q6600 for my neighbor who was sick and tired of Vista Basic.

She’s 70 and has had no issues except her favorite variety of solitaire is seemingly not available for Linux.
She doesn’t like Spider or FreeHearts, she wants the same type as Vista currently comes with.
Does anyone know the name of the that solitaire vartiety and is there a Linux solitaire program that comes with it?

I downloaded one for Linux that had about 50 varieties, but none were the same as she was used to and she couldn’t find one she liked.

She says she plays to relieve stress so the game is a necessity.

It’s called Spider Solitaire according to searching for «vista solitaire» on the Internet: http://windows.about.com/od/multimediae . itaire.htm

AFAIK that is the same as the Spider game included with AisleRiot (you may also want to install package gnome-cards-data for some additional card graphics). From the AisleRiot menu you do Game > Select Game and in the list find Spider. The layout is a bit different but there is a row of open cards that you need to play away, a pile of cards to draw, and a row where the suits you have completed will go. Those are on different places on the screen, but seems like the same game to me (from screenshots and descriptions found online; I don’t use Windows).

You will also want to do this: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.p . 91#p721687. That will make it possible for her to consult the in-game help, should she want to try a different solitaire variant

Thanks alot. She swears that Spider is not what she was playing in Vista. She has two versons in Vista one called Spider the other with a more generic Vista Solitaire name to it.

AsileRiot is the one I downloaded and she didn’t find a game she liked. She tried Jumbo Solitaire which looks similar to what she was playing but she said she couldn’t figure it out like I said.

She’s 70 so it’s hard to get to change her mind. Looking up instructions is not going to make her happy but I’ll see what I can do.

If worse comes to worst I’ll have to install Wine and the copy Vista Solitaire from the NTFS partition.
Anyone know if vista solitaire works under Wine?
