Awfull. Ужасное приложение.

Это приложение в УБОГОСТИ превосходит любое другое. Я бы поставил ему -100, если бы это было возможно. Обожаю свою Sony A7III и ни разу не пожалел о покупке, но когда дело доходит до скидывания фото и управления камерой через приложение, хочется выкинуть её в окно.

Теперь по фактам:

1) Камера предлагает скачать Playmemories mobile для передачи фото. Такого приложения не существует. Можно подумать, что это Play memories online, но нет, через него не подключиться. На самом деле нужное приложение — Imaging edgeonline (Далее IEO). Узнать это удаётся только перейдя на сайт.
2) Для входа в IEO нужно ввести логин и пароль сони. При первом вводе ВСЕГДА появляется надпись, что пароль неверный.
3) Тот же самый пароль принимается только со второго раза. Далее нужно скачать отдельное приложение аутентификатор OTPAuth (уже странно, да?). При попытке перейти из IEO в OTP Auth, первый всегда сбрасывает данные, и вход нужно производить заново. До бесконечности.
Единственное решение, которое я нашёл – открыть аутентификатор с другого устройства.
4) Приложение не поддерживается более ранними версиями IOS, чем предпоследняя (IOS13).
5) Фотографии невозможно скинуть в ARW, не смотря на то, что в настойках фотоаппарата стоит галочка «только в оригинале». Всё равно на телефон прилетаетJPG.

Итог – масса потерянного времени и нервов, разочарование в Sony.

У меня в голове не укладывается, как компания, производящая лучшие в мире беззеркалки, могла произвести на свет самое отвратительное приложение во всём App Store.

Вместо этого приложения используйте imaging edge mobile. там все прекрасно работает и перебрасывает ваши снимки точно так же, как и было в старой версии этой программы.

Шляпа полная. Компания Сони больше не та SONY, что было раньше. Вы израсходовались. У вас нету идей. У вас нет стремления слушать ваших, надеюсь бывших поклонников . Вас не исправить. Ваш век прошёл.

Worst move ever Sony

I completely agree with the last comment, I was like crazy looking for the old app, which let me say is way better than this piece of crapp, seriously you finally managed a way to get you to people dislike Sony doing such actions. I can’t believe that instead of moving forward you took 3 steps back. Horrible app, the old one was by far the best, so easy and intuitive, this move was a big no-no.
So please stop bullsh$@. And bring the old app back. Like the last comment said so what would be the WiFi function on the camera if there’s no way to connect and/or transfer my pictures directly from the camera. Which btw was great and a lot people would react to that saying hey man that’s awesome!
I tried to transfer my pictures the other day cause it was just as easy in a snap. Just select the pictures you wanted an Voilà, that easy and you can have the pictures you just took a minute ago. In your phone and your friends. Sharing memories was that easy. Now ? What am I suppose to do? Wait till’ I get home and transfer? That was a big selling point for you guys and without that? I’ll just get a cell phone with a decent camera and I’ll sell my Sony Nex 5r. No point on having it if I can’t transfer my photos to my phone at the spot. Anyway I hope you really manage to fix that cause honestly that was a very stupid move Sony. Thumbs down! Big time ! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

This app is trash. Download Imaging Edge Mobile instead

Just got a Sony a5000 and spent the last hour trying to transfer a few test photos via WiFi. Everything about this app is horrible. From the clunky, outdated, and laggy UI to the entire functionality of it. It boggles my mind that this app is supposed to be supported by Sony.

Like many other reviewers, the camera and iPhone would not connect at all despite my phone being connected to the cameras WiFi. The camera would stay stuck on “connecting. ” while the Playmobile app home screen would do absolutely nothing.

After an hour of reading through the help section of Sony’s website to no avail, I finally discovered that there was an alternative to this trash. I downloaded the Imaging Edge Mobile app that’s also by Sony which allowed me to transfer files instantly as well as use the smart phone control app.

Here’s how to transfer images:
From your camera: select the image you’d like to transfer > menu > wireless > send to smartphone > select on this device > this image/all images (the screen will load to WiFi standby)

From your smartphone: connect to the camera WiFi > open the imaging mobile app > select your camera (should be an orange button that says start) and VOILA! Automatic transfer within seconds.

But full disclosure, the imaging edge mobile UI is no better than PlayMemories but at least it does what it’s supposed to do, and quickly. PlayMemories is garbage and will be going to my app trash immediately.

Changes and now two apps

I found out that the PlayMemories app is only social and the app for transfers is named sony imaging edge mobile. This is the one to use for transfers images from camera to iphone or other mobile devices. Saying that about this application I tried to use but didnt make sense for me. I use Lightroom for the share and album organizing so I am not sure it is for me. I love transfer my pictures to my phone and that was the reason I was using the legacy one. I got frustrated when I changed my phone and the new application PlayMemories didn’t allow to import images on the phone. I kept the old phone for several weeks until upgraded the OS. Then none of the phones could get the images from the camera. I tried to find a third party solution until i got the app mention above imaging edge mobile. Is basically the same old PlayMemories. Hopefully this helps. I gave the one rating because I was not able to use what it was for me. I noticed some others reviewers have the same issues.
