Решил я прикупить себе ДЕШЕВУЮ звуковую карту. Свою встроенную сломал. Вопрос как я её сломал иногда посещает меня бессонными ночами и куда более бессонными днями. Иногда. Выбор пал на Creative «Sound Blaster 5.1» SB1070 (PCI) в апреле 2014 я купил её за 635 рублей. Самый дешевый вариант в магазине, котором обычно покупаю всё.
Пришёл, воткнул, расстроился. Система на данный момент Windows 8 профессиональная 64bit. Проблема в драйверах. Ставиться не хочет. Офсайт Creative говорит, что карта твоя, друг, давно уже старая, мы их уже и не делаем, зачем ты её так задёшево купил — непонятно. Там где-то есть какие-то волшебные архивные загрузки, которые может и смогли бы мне помочь, но я успешно заблудился, чуточку (ну совсем чуточку) попроклинал сайт креативов с его «Текущими изделиями» и «Архивными изделиями», попенял на себя и начал рыть интернеты.
Сначала качаем вот этот файл. Оно .exe, но не страшно. Мой Drweb проверил, ничего не нашёл и, собственно, заработать — заработало. В инструкциях в интернетах было написано, что устанавливать содержимое обязательно на диск C в папку P17X_SupportPack_2_0, но скорее всего для моего способа оно не понадобится, ибо как в старые добрые времена Win98 нужно сделать несколько манипуляций руками.
В Windows 8 включена обязательная проверка подписи драйверов, означает это примерно, что если винде драйвер не нравится ставить она его не будет, и тем более спрашивать как Windows 7 (я драйвер не знаю, но если хочешь — поставь) не станет. Для того, чтобы поставить неопознанные драйвер в 8ке надо сделать следующее:
Включить тестовый режим. Вариантов опять несколько, тот что побыстрее:
Вызываем командную строку Win (это клавиша на клавиатуре со значком Виндоус)+X
В командной строке с правами администратора пишем:
Отзовётся оно вот таким образом:
Перезагружаем компьютер. Справа снизу на экране появится следующее: 
Далее, в диспетчере устройств (его можно найти в панели управления) выбираем наше неопознанное мультимедиа устройство щелчок правой кнопкой > обновить драйверы > выполнить поиск драйверов на этом компьютере > указываете в папке куда распаковалось P17X_SupportPack_2_0 папку drivers. У меня всё подцепилось, драйвер встал, звук появился. Вроде бы после перезагрузки, не помню.
Чтобы убрать тестовые надписи, которые появились, в командной строке пишем
Не забываем, что командная строка должна быть запущена от имени администратора.

На некоторых форумах встречал такие записи: «Поставил модифицированный драйвер стала работать громче». И никто не оставлял ссылки на эти драйвера. Пробовал искать сам. Адекватный набор есть здесь но не могу найти там свою модель. Подскажите пожалуйста сталкивались вы с подобными ситуациями? Увеличится ли выходная мощность звуковой карты если поставить неродные драйвера? Где найти подобные драйвера под мою звуковую карту? ——-
