Is my sound card compatible with Windows 7 64bit?
I have win7 64bit and I am trying to install my soundcard. After the installation tries to go through, my computer becomes very slow and eventually says that it isn’t sure if the installation installed correctly. My sound card is an ASUS Xonar DS 7.1 Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Audio Card. Not sure if the mb info is needed, but I have a ASUS P7P55D PRO LGA 1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard. This is my first build and I thought I was in the clear to buy this sound card. Is there something I have to switch on/off, or something of that sort? I would be awfully grateful for any input that is thrown my way 🙂
