HourBoostr and SingleBoostr are two applications developed to idle games on your Steam accounts. The two programs work differently — and depending on how you to idle, you may want to pick one over the other. Neither applications require you to have the game you want to boost installed, but you do need to own the game in your library.
This program acts like a stand-alone Steam client and will require you to enter your Steam account details. The perks of this application is that you can idle several accounts at once, and you do not need to have Steam installed on the PC you are running it on, which means you can rent a VPS and keep it running for weeks on end. So if you’re looking to boost multiple accounts at once on accounts you are not using at the time, this is perfect for you. However, if you are only using one account and you also want to be online and play other games or chat with friends, this will not work very well since you can not be logged in at two locations at the same time. This program is perfect for you if you only have one account that you want to boost. This program requires you to have Steam installed, however you can be logged into your account and play games and chat with your friends while you are boosting other games with SingleBoostr at the same time. SingleBoostr also offers a great way to farm Trading Cards.

A new version of an application for boosting the hours of Steam games. The new version supports two-factor authentication using a shared secret key.
New users can be added to the config/database.json . Just run npm run user and follow the instructions.
By default the application will boost CS 1.6 and CS:GO. The boosted game can be changed by editing the config/database.json .
Install a (version >= 8.9.0 ) node and pm2 . Clone the steamhourboostv2 repository and install dependencies:
Accounts can be added with npm run user . Start the script using pm2 :

The database.json format
The configuration files are saved in the config subfolder. If files need to be edited, remember to also edit the files inside the config folder!
steamhourboost will automatically convert the old database and move it if necessary.
A backup of the old database will be created as database.json.bak .
Restarting the application
Just do the following:
If multiple processes are running, the ID of the process to be restarted must be specified. The ID can be found using:
Steamhourboost can be used Docker. Copy the docker-compose.yml and run it. The develop branch is selected by default. To change branches, edit the compose file to target the latest tag.
The images are based on mhart/alpine-node and are as minimal as possible.
An optional telegram bot is included to generate 2FA tokens using telegram.
The first execution of steamhourboost will create an empty config/telebot.json . Set the bot token and restart the application.
To find out the id, write anything to the bot.
Set the id as admin_id in the config/telebot.json and restart the application.
That’s it! The bot is now waiting for requests. Ask him about tokens! Just enter the username (or something close similar) and it will generate the key:
