Synapse Audio Hydra WiN/MAC
The Hydra is a multi-model synthesizer, features three different routing models, each with three oscillators. Each routing model combines the three oscillators in different ways, by phase modulation or ring modulation — and each model has radically different possibilities.
The logical organization of the user interface makes it easy to maintain a good overview of the high number of parameters, and design your own original sounds. Two of the three oscillators have 39 preset waveforms, and can be individually saturated. Envelopes can be switched to percussive mode, turning the instrument into an extremely versatile drum sound synthesizer.
Hydra comes with a library of 128 useful and imaginative presets, including house/club style organs, bells and percussions, basses, subtle ambient atmospheres, powerful leads and rich stereo pads.

Synapse Audio X-Poly WiN/MAC
The X-Poly is a VST / AU synthesizer plug-in, which started out as an emulation of a vintage synth, but went beyond that by adding many improvements and new features over the original.
The concept of the X-Poly is based around two oscillators, each containing four special sub-oscillators spaced one octave apart. Both oscillators can be blended seamlessly between a square and a sawtooth-type waveform and can be freely panned in the stereo field. The six-stage envelopes controlling the amplitudes of the oscillators provide a linear slope for the first five stages and a semi-logarithmic release for the final stage.
A global filter applied to all voices simultaneously as well as a stereo noise generator and a sophisticated chorus effect complement the unique sound of this instrument plugin. As a result, the X-Poly is particularly great for warm backing sounds, leads and atmospheric pad sounds, that fit nicely into the mix.

Orion 8.6 has been released today
Orion 8.6 is now available in the service area for all registered users! Orion 8.6 introduces track freeze, new effects, usability enhancements and an update of the skin system. Additionally, many bugs from version 8.5 have been addressed.
The following lists all changes since Orion 8.5.
- Track freeze option added in the playlist
- New Effect: Fat Space for Orion
- New Effect: Stereo Widen Pro
- Paste to cursor: Selections in the piano roll can now be pasted to the cursor position,
and the pattern size automatically increases as necessary - Both streaming and «live» playback now use the same buffer size, increasing accuracy.
Note this makes the previous «Enable accurate VST automation» switch obsolete - Crash report tool allows you to forward a log to us with further information,
this can help us find the reason - Improved «Clone To Track» between internal modules and VST instruments
- «Receive Midi From Generator» can handle every midi channel now
- In song mode if track recording has been enabled, the events will be recorded into pattern events instead of song events
- Progress bar for Track Freeze
- Hints when using Mouse Wheel to change parameters
