Компания Microsoft представила новую версию инструмента синхронизации мобильных устройств на базе Windows Mobile и ПК, работающих под управление операционной системы Microsoft Windows Vista RC1 и Microsoft Windows 7. Напомним, что в Windows Vista и выше функциональность приложения ActiveSync получило приложение Windows Mobile Device Center.
Новая версия называется Windows Mobile Device Center (Центр устройств Windows Mobile 6.1 для Windows Vista и Microsoft Windows 7). Среди новых возможностей — поддержка устройств, работающих под управлением операционной системы Windows Mobile 2003, в дополнение к поддержке устройств на базе Windows Mobile 5.0.
Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center Beta работает только на Microsoft Windows Vista RC1 и выше. Windows Mobile Device Center позволяет синхронизировать музыку, картинки, просматривать и управлять контентом, синхронизировать данные из электронной почты, контактов, календаря, а также легко управлять настойками синхронизации.
