Where are my worksheet tabs?
If you can’t see the worksheet tabs at the bottom of your Excel workbook, browse the table below to find the potential cause and solution.
Note: The image in this article are from Excel 2016. Your view might be slightly different if you have a different version, but the functionality is the same (unless otherwise noted).
The window sizing is keeping the tabs hidden.
If you restore multiple windows in Excel, ensure that the windows are not overlapping. Perhaps the top of an Excel window is covering the worksheet tabs of another window.
The status bar has been moved all the way up to the Formula Bar.
Tabs can also disappear if your computer screen resolution is higher than that of the person who last saved the workbook.
Try maximizing the window to reveal the tabs. Simply double-click the window title bar.
If you still don’t see the tabs, click View > Arrange All > Tiled > OK.
The Show sheet tabs setting is turned off.
First ensure that the Show sheet tabs is enabled. To do this,
For all other Excel versions, click File > Options > Advanced—in under Display options for this workbook—and then ensure that there is a check in the Show sheet tabs box.
The horizontal scroll bar obscures the tabs.
Hover the mouse pointer at the edge of the scrollbar until you see the double-headed arrow (see the figure). Click-and-drag the arrow to the right, until you see the complete tab name and any other tabs.
The worksheet itself is hidden.
To unhide a worksheet, right-click on any visible tab and then click Unhide. In the Unhide dialog box, click the sheet you want to unhide and then click OK.

Language tab is gone in Control Panel
After the major update of Windows 10 in May, the language tab setting is gone.
Does anyone know the fix of it?
And there a language bug in setting. The system sets 2 different language as default language
Even I set English as display language. The lpksetup still use Chinese as default language.
Thus I can’t remove either of them. The remove icon is gray out. And «Set as default» icon is gone too.
Hi Saikit, there is a known bug in the 1803 version of Windows 10. Microsoft are aware of this issue and hopefully are working on a patch . . .
For the moment, please try this workaround to set your preferred input language:
Right click your Start Button, choose Powershell (admin)
Run this command to get a list of installed languages on your PC
Note down the LanguageTag of your preferred language
If say, your preferred language is US English, run this command and hit Enter:
$1 = New-WinUserLanguageList en-US
Then run this command to set the order of installed input languages
Close Powershell and restart your PC
Power to the Developer!

Enhancements tab missing from both speakers and microphone properties since Windows 10 update
That is basically what I see. There’s no enhancements, it was there in Windows 8.1. It was gone when I updated to Windows 10.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Conexant SmartAudio HD driver, tried downloading the driver from Toshiba’s website that matched my laptop’s model, tried updating the driver, nothing works.
Is there a way to bring back the enhancements tab?

I have check on a Windows 10 computer and was able to see and work with the sound enhancements.
If you are not able to see the same then it could be because the sound card installed on the computer do not have the ability for displaying sound enhancements or the sound card drivers are corrupt.
Step 1:
You may try uninstalling and re-installing the sound card drivers from device manager and
a. Type in Device Manager in the Start Screen. Select the same.
b. Expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers in the Device Manager Window.
c. Right click on the Device.
d. Click on Properties.
e. Click on Driver Tab.
f. Click on Uninstall drivers.
g. Click OK.
Now restart the computer and install the latest drivers and check if the issue still persists.
Step 2:
If the issue still persists, reinstall the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check.
What is the make and model of the sound card or the laptop?
Disable Edge Tabs in Alt+Tab Dialog in Windows 10
How to Disable Edge Tabs in the Alt+Tab Dialog in Windows 10
With recent changes in Windows 10, open tabs in the Microsoft Edge browser appear in the Alt+Tab window switching dialog as individual windows. If you are unhappy with this change, it is easy to revert it back to the classic behavior, when the Edge app appears as a single icon in Alt + Tab.
Microsoft describes the change as follows.
Are you a multitasker? your tabs open in Microsoft Edge will start appearing in Alt + TAB, not just the active one in each browser window. We’re making this change so you can quickly get back to whatever you were doing—wherever you were doing it.
Here is how it works in action:
If you would like to see fewer Edge tabs in the Alt+Tab dialog, or completely remove them from there and have the classic single Edge thumbnail preview of browser window, it is possible to configure this feature in Settings. Luckily, Microsoft provides the appropriate option.
To Disable Edge Tabs in the Alt+Tab Dialog in Windows 10,
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Settings > System > Multitasking.
- On the right, go to the Alt+Tab section.
- Under Pressing Alt + Tab shows select Open Windows only from the drop-down list of options.
- Alternatively, you can select one of the following options according to your preferences.
- Open windows and all tabs in Edge
- Open Windows and 5 most recent tabs in Edge (default)
- Open Windows and 3 most recent tabs in Edge
- Open Windows only
Starting in Microsoft Edge Canary 89.0.736.0 , there is an alternative solution available. Microsoft has added an additional flag, Browser tab experiences in Windows, disables Edge tabs in the Alt+Tab dialog.
Disable Edge Tabs in Alt+Tab with a flag
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Type edge://flags/#edge-window-tab-manager in the address bar and hit the Enter key.
- Select Disabled on the right of the Browser tab experiences in Windows option.
- Restart the Edge browser.
Microsoft Edge is now a Chromium-based browser with a number of exclusive features like Read Aloud and services tied to Microsoft instead of Google. The browser has already received a few updates, with support for ARM64 devices in Edge Stable 80. Also, Microsoft Edge is still supporting a number of aging Windows versions, including Windows 7, which has recently reached its end of support. Check out Windows Versions Supported by Microsoft Edge Chromium and Edge Chromium latest roadmap. Finally, interested users can download MSI installers for deployment and customization.
For pre-release versions, Microsoft is currently using three channels to deliver updates to Edge Insiders. The Canary channel receives updates daily (except Saturday and Sunday), the Dev channel is getting updates weekly, and the Beta channel is updated every 6 weeks. Microsoft is going to support Edge Chromium on Windows 7, 8.1 and 10, alongside macOS, Linux (coming in the future) and mobile apps on iOS and Android. Windows 7 users will receive updates until July 15, 2021.

Tabs are gone in windows
Hi, to see the bookmarks bar, right click in the tab bar (but not on a tab) and select Bookmarks Toolbar. If the bookmarks have gone, you can copy and paste or drag them from the bookmarks menu. Also see — Bookmarks Toolbar — Display your favorite websites at the top of the Firefox window. If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
Thanks for your reply but I am not able to drag anything to the bar as it just shows a black circle with a line across when I try. I don’t seem to have the seperate favourite tabs bar that used to be there. Also why are all my «open» tabs now at the very top ? Very confusing to my feeble mind :'(

If you mean the Bookmarks Menu you can restore that quite easily, click on the hamburger menu (or Firefox menu) in the top right hand corner, click on Customize Firefox, and drag the Bookmarks Menu back to the User Interface like in the attached screen-shot.
If this solved your problem, mark as solution so others can fix it too!
