Документация больше всего похожа на AC10, но в спецификации имеются некоторые отличия.
Данные приведены китайского оригинала именно AC11. Возможно, что документация еще не окончательно утряслась, т.к. аппарат довольно новый.
С Aliexpress пришел с китайской прошивкой, установленной в английский язык. Встроены английский и два китайких варианта интерфейса.
Поддержка фирменного смарт приложения Tenda WiFi возможна только в режиме роутера, но не AP (китайцы пишут, что работают над этим). Адрес роутера по-умолчанию: http://tendawifi.com или http://192.168.0.1
По протоколу ssl (https://. ) не отзывается.

Теоретически, можно заменить чип ROM на 8 или 16 Мб (25Q64CSIG или 25Q128CSIG).
Желающим произвести замену чипа: плата в районе чипа очень нежная. При выпаивании есть значительный риск повредить две посадочные площадки (со стороны CPU) и дорожки ведущие к ним.
P.S. Роутер и без этого чипа умеет работать, но не как роутер, а просто как свитч.
Доступ к содержимому чипа возможен через UART, который на плате имеется, но без штырьков.

У AC10 и AC11 также отличаются радиаторы CPU: у AC11 радиатор заметно меньше, но под платой находится большая алюминиевая пластина, также для охлаждения, которой нет у AC10. http://www.acwifi.net/5792.html

Product Installation

  • Firstly, use only the enclosed power adapter to power your router.
  • Then, attach the router’s LAN port to your pc with an ethernet cable.
  • Next, connect your broadband line given by your ISP to the router’s WAN port.

Setup the Network Configurations

Network Configurations

  • Double click” Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)».
  • Select “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically”. Click “OK” to save the configurations.

Login to the router login

How to Configure the Tenda wifi AC21 / AC2100 router ? Connect your tenda router

Step 1: Import your PPPoE default username and password from your main router.

  • 1. Turn on your pc and new tenda router.
  • 2. Connect the wireless area network port of the first router to a local area network (port 1, 2) of the new tenda router using an Ethernet link.

    Lets say. just for fun.. i got 2 x 3-packs of tenda MW6 to cover big area (indoors and outdoors). I had 3 of my MW6 backhauled with ethernet (actually, it is PLC bridge adapters).

    In «default» configuration it works okay, however i already had good openwrt router and several devices/services set up. By defaul, MW6 works in DHCP mode, creates 192.168.5.x subnet and puts everyone in there. But this 1) brings extra NAT layer, 2) breaks my services.

    So I decided to switch it to bridge mode, in which, according to manual, it shall turn off all its network services and just act as a bridge.

    From the first glance it worked, but then I realized some of my devices got wrong IPs and then understood that «main» cube runs its own luna park with blackjack and hookers DHCP server. There are absolutely no web administratoin page, only phone app. I see no ways to disable it from there.

    Nmap says DHCP server is running, and it intercepts all wifi clients and gives IP addresses from its pool. And needless to say these addresses are wrong, not what I need. Googled, found their support — same issue, however person says dhcp authoritative=’1′ on main openwrt router works for him, but it never worked for me.

    So I started investigation — how can I disable DHCP server.

    Few ports opened on the cube. nothing looks like telnet or ssh from the beginning, however after I connected to UART — I noticed that telnetd is starting up when you hold Reset button for 3 seconds (6 seconds brings back default settings).
